Have trouble getting script mods to work....

Hey guys,i hope this is the right section for this (do we have a "Mods don`t work"-Troubleshooter Thread?).

My problem is that mods which need the ScripthookNet Thingy and the "scripts" folder don`t work in my game.It seems like they aren`t even installed.

I checked if Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 and the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package installed and i also installed the three ScripthookNET V files in the main direction of GTA V.

I wanted to try the "speeding Cars" script for fun but there is no reaction when pressing F10.

Is there something i maybe did wrong or is it just some kind of incompatibility?

did you try take all the files out of the script folder and just put them in the main gta folder where gta5.exe and gtavlauncher.exe is located?

This is something i haven`t tried yet.I thought this is the way it needs to be done, the readme file said so to put the scriptfile in a folder named scripts (kinda like some scripts for GTA IV.)

But i wil try it and let you know if something worked.

Well,it seems this didn`t work either. Is there a way to see if the Scripthook NET actually works or, if not, if there is a Logfile for that thing?

I have this problem too. Log simply says "ScriptHookVDotNet.asi" failed to load and lua didn`t work too (failed to load). I reinstalled everything and installed latest updates from microsoft.
Other asi scripts are working.
Windows 7 x64
-Update-
solved by reinstalling all libs again

So, i think i may have found out why it happens.

On me, i realized that my antivirus (norton) removed ScriptHookVDotNot.asi from my GTAV folder, since it thought it was a virus.

So, i just had to add a exception for ScriptHookVDotNet.asi and now it works fine.

I hope this will help!

Okay,At least the ScriptHookVDotNet file is untouched by my Antivirus Program (I`m using MicrosoftSecurityEssentials) so maybe i need to try towardmastered`s idea.

Now i`m just wondering what you are meaning with "libs"?

Edit:Because this Problem was driving me Nuts,i removed every trace of modded files, went wit GTA back to a "fresh installed" state and reinstalled Sripthook, Mods and the needed Stuff for ScripthookVNet to work.

It finally works now,i can enjoy the Experience of a modded Game now, yaaay!I knew i kinda mixed something up...Thanks for all your Ideas.
