So my friends and I cruised far out to sea just for the fun of it until our boat and jet ski ran out of gas and we "committed suicide." We knew it was going to happen. We were bored. Anyway it got me to thinking how cool it would have been to keep riding in our boat until we got to Japan. That would be epic! Doesn't even have to be Japan. It could be Hawaii or Australia too. Wouldn't you think that would be fun? and do boats really run out of gas if you go so far out even irl? Curious.

The map has to end somewhere. And your last question... no comment.

Do this in single player and your boat drowns. Then you get brutally eaten by a shark. Unlocks a trophy.

It would take quite a bit of time to get to Japan from California on a jetski there buddy

So the distance between japan and cali is 8,600 KM and the highest top speed of a jet ski ever recorded is 148 km/h so 8600/148. you're looking at a around 2 and a half days of REAL TIME or so of traveling there lad.

They should make a GTA that had the entire globe tbh.

They took 5 years to develop GTA V that covers just one city and a surrounding area that is mostly made up of mountains and desert.

I doubt you would be patient enough to wait 10,000 years for them to develop a game that covers the entire globe. But hey, why stop at the globe, let's expect them to make a GTA that covers the entire universe!

If there were a beer hat reward for this, they would all do it. :p

"What is going on guys, this is LameAssGuy with a brand new video on a new guide on how you can exploit your way to securing that new "Welcome to Japan" t-shirt! First up... you'll need to get a rubber band strong enough to hold your trigger button down..."

"...now I haven't actually done this myself yet because it takes 2 and a half days to complete and I wanted to get this video out to you guys first so you can all start your epic journeys to the land of the rising sun, but I'm told that this will work by some guy's thread that I read on GTA forums..."

I find it funny that most of this thread is just pointing out the stupidity of that question.

Not A Nice Person

I agree (mostly bcuz Japan) But it'll probably be Hawaii, I was actually hoping R* made Hawaii out at sea.

They could have made the map round - so you kept going and got back to Los Santos at the other side.

I do agree some little secrets hidden way out would have been nice

Mr. Larson

It's 2015 and people still try to escape San Andreas thru the Pacific Ocean? OP, get to the eastside of the map, hop onto a seashark, drive for four hours straight east and you will reach Liberty City. No gas issues, you can refill at North Yankton midway between both. Japan does not even exist. It's a ficitional country invented by the videogame industry so they can sell games like Tekken.

offcouse boats don't run out of gas in real life, it's a game, games don't have boats with an unlimited amount of gas, only RL boats do.

Boats don't run on gas, they run on water.

Hey McFly, you bojo! Hoverboards don't work on water!

WRONG, you refuel at Vice City first.
