Does Rockstar Ban Cheaters these days?

Is it even worth reporting cheaters? Recording a video to have a "concrete" evidence of the cheater. Does Rockstar even care? I'm just curious. I found a bunch of cheaters an hour ago and got them recorded.

I guess it could depend on what they were doing really but yes R* claims they ban people who outright cheat.

 

I don't get it why buy a $60 game just to cheat and get your account banned, Although a 1st time banned is 14 days 2nd is 30 days 3rd is permaban unless they do something really bad then they could get banned all together.

 

I wouldn't mind people using mod lobbies online if they got rid of the "Kill Whole Lobby" thing and other stuff because some of those things can be funny like being shot at by a monkey.

They might but most companies don't. I would send it in anyways.

It seems like only modders on PC get banned. If you are a modder/cheater/hacker on consoles it's open season. I come across a modder/hacker/cheater in nearly every public lobby on consoles. I can understand the fun harmless modding, but the god mode, kill the whole lobby griefing makes zero sense. If you are going to grief, do it within the confines of the game, not some BS pu**y stuff. I'm like if you are going to cheat do it in real life where there is a benefit.
