The dude man Posted May 24, 2015 Share Posted May 24, 2015 I have reason to believe it does not exist in the game......at the moment,but will be installed via DLC.That is why the files on the jetpack are non-existent.I believe the search should begin after the release of the next heist update(and may be unveiled upon completion of the new heists)one of which will take place inside Fort Zancudo;however, I do not believe this to be the location of the jet pack.The position of the jet pack will be through the doors of the cable car building atop Mt. Chiliad,and what better place for a first flight than the highest point overlooking all of San Andreas.......of course,this is all just speculation. Rockstar has never said they will do another Heist update (god knows it took them a long time for the first one) The next major thing for GTA V is the rumored Single Player DLC. A jet pack is completely redundant you may be right,but as far as redundancy goes:quick getaway from cops,ease of access to rooftops/sniper positions,exploration,or wreaking havoc.of course you can do all of the above with jets/helicopters,but there are a lot of cool spots incapable of helicopter landings.
