Turismo or Armored Karuma?

Which one should I buy?

 

Grotti Turismo R- Best overall car (http://www.gtaguru.com/vehicles/). $500,000

 

Karin Karuma (Armored)- Armored and a decent car. $525,000

While some stats might place Turismo as "overall best car" - it isn't.

 

Zentorno and Entity are much quicker, offer bullet proof rears and you can improve their handling by tire selection and other mods.

 

So you can't improve the Turismo by mods? Lol! Maybe they're quicker on the straight parts of the track, but still the corners will seperate the men from the boys, it's all about steering and braking and not about top speeds! If you can only win with Zens and Entity's you need to practice a bit more, but you probably only want a super that has good stats and easy handling! Edited May 25, 2015 by Paulie050

First of all, those in-game car stats are meaningless, the actual vehicle stats in the programming are far more complex and numerous. Broughy goes into a lot of detail explaining why the in-game stats are false, so if you want to know why, check him out. Also, that chart assumes all stats are equally weighted; do you really think braking is as important as say traction or acceleration?

 

As far as which to get, it depends on what you will use them for. If you want to spend most of your time griefing people in free roam, get the armored kuruma. If you want a fast car for races, missions, etc then get the Turismo. Personally the Turismo R is my favorite car in the game...but I won't even buy the kuruma, even though I have $35M and plenty of empty space in my garages. I've driven ones that my friends owned though, and I've killed enough people driving them while on foot (with guns, not explosive, so no bad sport points for me) to give an accurate assessment of the kuruma, and I don't like it. Guess it is a matter of personal preference though.

The only supercar I currently own and have ever owned online besides the voltic for a brief period, and while the acceleration is great and handling pretty good (when you know what you're doing), it'll get pushed around and overtaken by the Zentorno, Adder or Entity in races. Also run the risk of hitting a curb and having it stop you like a brick wall more than any other vehicle.

 

Get the Kumara, decent all rounder, probably not nearly as fast, but if you suck (which no offense you probably do like most of the commmunity) it's about 92% bulletproof.

Pushed around by Zentornos and Adders? In a Turismo R? Then you don't know what you are doing or you only race in a straight line, it's all about the corners, I've beaten a lot of Zens and Adders with my Turismo and even with my Infernus, master the car then it's not about top speeds it all comes down to driving skills! And there's nothing better than beating a kid in a horrible coloured Zentorno with an Turismo or Infernus, I just love it and they hate you so bad for it, it's sensational!

 

Yes, pushed around by Zentornos and Adders due to it being a light weight car in comparison. Have a zentorno side swipe you and you spin out. Side swipe a zentorno in retaliaion? You still spin out. I've beaten several upgraded Zentornos and Adders using my upgraded Turismo from both bad and good players. Of course cornering is what gave me an advantage, but when you're racing even a half-decent player who has an upgraded Zentorno thats a different story. The turismo simply isn't the best overall car which is why it isn't the most expensive.

 

The Turismo and the Zen have the exact same top sppeed btw.

True that man no question, but still if you hit that Zen right with your Turismo you can knock them off too but you're right man overall it's not the best, I just hate the dang Zens and mostly their annoying drivers

Because it isnt a fact. If you cant clearly tell from driving both, look up some test on YouTube. What's posted on the virtual websites aren't even achievable speeds for most cars, if I'm not mistaken. The Zen is obviously second fastest, but easily best all around.

It depends on how much corners does a race have. If it's a street race with tonnes of corners and barely any spaces to take a turn - use Turismo R, if it's a street race with lots of corners and enough spaces to take a turn - Zentorno, if it's a long haul race with not so much turns - Adder.
