I think its long over due for a double xp and cash event on everything

We'll probably get a DLC next Tuesday, with an event the following weekend. The article with the preview pic of the upcoming Car & engraved .50 Pistol was "2 weeks, 4 days ago" as of right now, and there'll need to be a gap between that DLC and the 4th of July Event imo.

They really should have (at least) a monthly event to keep it interesting. I'm not saying that they should add extra content every single month, but simply having a double rp weekend once a month on a certain job type would help keep things interesting and would maybe get people to play different job types more. Something like a race weekend with double rp in races and half price car mods, a deathmatch weekend with half price guns and ammo or an air race weekend with half price air vehicles online.

 

Just something to mix it up a bit and get people playing. Right now I'm level 202 and I'm starting to get a bit bored of playing the same old jobs over and over. We really need some more contact missions as well.

Cockstar has their billions. Just sitting back in their underground fallout shelters or Vault type apparatus as seen from Fallout games at this point.

 

Waiting to watch and see if WW3 breaks out as planned.

yes the system is broke and all but i really like the damn special crates, even more when crates contain shirts and stuff, the craze get real!

Special crates were around May 1st. Did not contain something special however.

Now they do not even seem to care about promoting the new verified stuff.

 

I especially would like to see the random event timer lowered to at least 24 minutes. Except for the planes/choppers you cant really make money with them, they just add a little fun to FR. Most christian countries got bank holidays today, this weekend would have been perfect for an extended event and it really does not take much efford to press a f*cking button. They could even build like five new missions, that would cost about ten minutes of the developers precious time.

 

The time between updates will increase now, so some sort of tiny event would be at least something.

it was only one time this event happened and it was success everyone was grinding rr and getting money as well ranking up.

Maybe only on PS4/One and PC. Last gen is too buggy for these kind of events.

But I would love an event, especially with special crates, especially with something different than shirts!

How about special crates with a new vehicle in them. It would never happen because R* would never give us the chance of getting a high value item for free.

I totally agree that it's been too long. I think the problem is that the plebs behind the code at Rockstar can't figure out how to stop you getting double money and RP from heists.

I think the most that they could do would be a unique weapon. Since on christmas, they had the firework launcher. But yeah, that'll never happen

They better do sometime. Im a GTA freak i play 3 to 4h a day and right now im bored of it. there isnt sometime new to do Since i have done it all(level 423)

 

I miss those nice event on chrismas. The crate drop,the limited item. I hope tomorow R* give us sometime new.

If your first experience of GTA:O in NG then yeah it's been a pretty poor DLC experience so far. So I'm hoping for a nice run of content through to Christmas.

 

OTOH horrible feeling that July 4th is earliest we'll see anything

Double Cash/RP sounds great at this moment. GTA Online is dry. I know R* won't even consider applying double cash to heists (although the failure rate is so damn high with those things). I wil be upset if they skip over July the 4th.

I can see something happening during the Summer though. I'm going to lag switch if we do get crates. All those squeakers at home all day and night, staying up....... I'll rather skip the BS fighting over a shirt 100+ times until I get one

Last dbl money XP I remember was in June 2014 bc I was sick the week they did it and didn't make much money.

that sucks.....Yeah it did. I think I made 100-200k before I got off and laid back down. Since then they've only had dbl RP for certain things that not many people do. I really would like to have another $$ event for contact missions and not parachuting, races, LTS, DM, captures or TDM. You really don't make much off them in the first place. If they did this for contact missions again, people would be more inclined to do missions.

 

But I highly doubt it will return for the simple fact the payouts were redone again and people aren't bitching on support, how hard it is to make money blah blah blabbity blah.

I made a ton of cash during the team DM weekend! With deathmatches being my favorite mode I loved it as everybody was playing them and the lobbys were always full, these events should be a regular thing for sure..

 

Im not a fan of daily objectives to be honest and I think regular events promoting each game mode would drive players to actually mix it up a bit and try a bit of everything
