AccountNoLongerUsed Posted May 24, 2015 Share Posted May 24, 2015 Basically where you can discuss what you like about the system, what you think needs to change, etc. I will start: I tried the :NEW: Nintendo 3DS at a Gamestop I enjoyed it....except for the C-Nub. It was just not that responsive for me, and my thumb kept on sliding off. I think it would be better if they moved the Start and Select buttons to bottom in a horizontal position, and have a bigger Right Circle Pad bellow the ABXY buttons. Also, I hope eventually they release a :NEW: Nintendo 2DS because I STILL am not interested in 3D, and dont want to pay extra money for the feature. Plus to be honest i tried the 2DS and i liked the way it felt in my hands more than the :NEW: 3DS. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Mintal Posted May 28, 2015 Share Posted May 28, 2015 (edited) Bought a New 3DS a few weeks ago, and I think it's an amazing system. Nothing can beat Mario and Zelda in my opinion, these are games for people of all ages. I'm doing my first playthrough of "Ocarina of Time" at the moment, which is a hell of a game so far. Before playing the 3DS I thought the 3D effect is just a small gimmick, but it looks breathtaking. I think 3D will become a standard for handheld gaming, never want to miss it again. I'm secretly hoping that a new GTA game will come for New 3DS (no birds view camera). Just imagine travelling through a city, perhaps countryside, with an amazing 3D effect that makes you think the world is realistic and plastic. Wow. All in all it's just a second console, I play with my Xbox One most time, but it still was worth the money. The games aren't that expensive, too. @OP: Have you tried the New 3DS XL version? Because I personally think the 2DS is garbage. It looks like sh*t, the sticks are even worse in my opinion, and the mono sound buries the device for me. evh5150vanhalen Posted December 20, 2015 Share Posted December 20, 2015 I bought one of these yesterday. It's nice to have an actual portable system to play games on rather than my Iphone. I bought the "New" 3ds xl in red. I'm really enjoying the virtual console and how it brings back memories of the games I played on NES and my crystal gameboy when I was a kid.
