i just collected all the papers and completed the mission to kill dreyfuss and its been 5 minutes and i havent recieved the trophy yet. any reason for this?

This would be another instance where you would not want your auto save on.... and where you rotate save slots during your play through...

 

It may still pop up, but if you could reload and replay that mission-- you can give it another chance...

i am going to assume that u are on playstation since u said "trophy". follow these steps and it should work.

 

1) If u DONT HAVE a save just before the mission, load this one and just save 1 time just so the save can get to the top of the list (as the most recent save). In case u do have a save before the mission, do the same (load and save 1 time) then follow steps until step 5.

 

2) Close GTA

 

3) Go to settings and log out of ur PSN

 

4) Launch GTA. As the game is loading when it will be at ~90% or even when it has finished loading u should get the the trophy. U are done.

 

5) (in case of save before mission) Launch GTA and continue normaly with the mission. U should get the trophy.

 

Lesson? always have a save before the end of a big trophy, and always do them OFFLINE. For some reason when u are online it either takes too long to get the trophy (it could show it to u after 1-2 hours) or not pop at all. At 99% u will get it if u are OFFLINE. HF and i hope that will be a fix for u
