Good day, all.

 

I see there are many racers here. I love to race, you love to race. What better way to get the racers together, than by hosting a small competition? It'll basicly be a few tracks set in a playlist, and we'll just play through them. I have had a small amount of experience hosting/co-hosting events for Next Car Game, having run a clean tournament and a few clean endurance races. If you want to see those past events, I'll supply some bit.ly links in a spoiler at the bottom.

 

First off, I'll be gauging demand for this sort of thing in GTA:O and if it takes off I'll do more but if it sinks, then it sinks and I'll try again in the future. All you have to do is turn up and race, and the player with the most JP will be crowned the winner, as usual for a playlist. Money will be won through the races, as I don't currently have the cash to offer up a bonus cash prize at the end. The tracks for this event are ones I have created for now, but I'm looking to get a better selection for next time. I have put in a link to the playlist so you can have a go at them before the event date.

 

It'll be a one-make affair, which helps keep the field balanced and your placing more relies on your skill behind the wheel, and that also means no customs. A custom cup is definitely something to do later, though. I would also like it to be clean racing - as much as I like racing, I would rather lose because I was crap, rather than because the guy behind piled me into a wall while I was defending my position. I also find it hard to actually get into a race session, and when I do it's almost always Super and catchup is always on.
