I ran into the tail rotor in the Prison Break Heist.

 

Fail.

Worst fail I've seen was during Prison Break heist. Our pilot thought he was so cool, doing barrel rolls and flying upside down towards our destination. Until all of a sudden he crashes into the ocean. He immediately backed out.

 

Another fail was trying to help my noob friend trough this same heist. She kept dying over and over, we never even made it out of the prison. We finally get past the prison, make it to the plane, only for her to walk into the plane's propellars while the pilot was waiting for us to get in

killing myself as a rooftop sniper by finaly finding a good roof and killing myself by walking into the rotors when getting out

extra fail for the fact it was my personal pegasus buzzard and i cant see it from the streets, so to fix it i need to get an other chopper, fly to the same roof even though the battleflied already moved away from that place(this is from the earlie days were i hadnt even realy unlocked my own normal sniper and i got one from the police mavericks spawning at the hospital after wich i then ordered ammo drops)

 

also a big fail is being suprised by a player under the radar and being trown out of my tank, and getting grieved by it(i bought a tank for the sole purpose to kill tank grievers, these days i sometimes take it in those rare occasions half of the lobby is chasing me for a bounty or to destroy an insurgent filled with people that utilize the bullet proof back)

In the contact mission where you have to destroy several trucks and take a package from the last one (Denial of Service, I think), I took out every truck myself using the Buzzard, grabbed the package, made my getaway, evaded the cops... and flew straight into a power line pole right before the delivery point.

 

The ridiculous part is that the package is not destructible in that mission, so it got stranded on top of the power line pole as a result of my crash instead of failing the mission. The upside was that although it took the four of us (who were all random players, mind you) several minutes, we did eventually figure out how to get the package off the pole and finish the mission at least...

 

Best win for me was probably when I intentionally rammed a guy in a Lazer using my Besra (who was already trying to kill me), causing him to crash into Eclipse Tower and explode, while I survived without even a damaged engine. Then did it again. Twice.

Fail: One of my first run throughs of Los Santos Connection. I was with 3 other random players and they had all died during the mission. I killed the last guy and grabbed the coke. After a 5 minute chase to the north end of the map managed to kill the boss flying away in his jet (this was before I knew you could blow it up before hand). I finally make it back to Madrozos place after a frantic 40 minute mission and land my Buzzard on his roof then proceed to walk into the tail rotor and commit suicide feet from the finnish.

 

Win: Needed to participate in a Deathmatch as a daily objective. Randomizer sent me into one of those "999,999,999$$ RP" bullsh*t ones and as I thought, I started facing the wall holding a baseball bat. I turned around and saw the host run through the hole and followed, then punched him out of the helecopter while it's rotors were spinning up and took off before he was able to recover. I killed him 45 times before the end of the 5 minute match all the while he was scream/crying into the mic about how unfair I was and I think he even broke his controller. Feels good man.

Win: Stole some other players Akuma, jumped off the ramp near Madrazzos house, got it stuck in the top of the tree near the golf course doin a back flip, took ages for him to actually get it down.

 

Fail: I died on impact from hitting said tree.

Doing that mission that needs you to land some planes by the docks and has you deal with buzzards on the way

 

some dude was in the plane about to take off but got out right as another player stepped in front of the door, the door knocked the other player into the plane's propeller killing him.

Was pilot in the Prison Break heist on normal, got sniped out of the cockpit while we were taking off. Still somehow managed to respawn, run through all the cops, get back in the now smoking plane, and still finished the mission anyway. That was fun.

 

Worst fail so far was being pilot on the Humane Labs Raid where the gunner wasn't exactly doing well and we kept getting hammered by choppers. Engines kept cutting out and we were smoking pretty bad by then. Once the ground team made it out and sent up the flare, I went to go land only to have the engines cut out and the chopper fell down, tipped over, and put the main rotors right into the ocean thus destroying the chopper and ending the mission.

Everyone was playing dirty on *Grass Route race, so I thought I'd join in. Win was ramming someone and spinning them out. Fail was crashing off that long right hand turn five seconds later.

[GTA-Biker]

My biggest win in GTA Online was when I ran away from some guy in an Elegy while riding a Daemon (at least long enough to get to a narrow alley where he can´t run me over,get off the bike,pull out my gun and shoot him through a windshield).

My biggest fail was when I tried to launch a car at those NPCs that set up a fire on the beach at night and gather around it.I speed towards them and bail out of the car to avoid getting a wanted level when it hits them,but then the car somehow completely missed them while I fell into fire and died.

During the Prison Break i was the pilot and i was waiting for my teammates to get in the plane! Demolisher destroys a chopper and the destroyed chopper fells on the plane and causes one of the wheels to break! So i was unable to jump aaaaaaaaaaannnndd the plane got destroyed! :|

Theres a race I play where the finish line is in the water. Sometimes you can get your car to it if you can master a loop, sometimes you can use the loop as a ramp, but in GTA mode you can swim to it if you f*ck up. I wasn't too far ahead of the guy in second place, and spent probably 5 seconds swimming and noticed the thing didn't cut to show me what he was doing in the race... I heard his car, but didn't see him... it went to the lap time screen and I noticed we both had the exact same time of about 4:20 or so... mine was about 4:20-70 and he was about 4:20-80. I just scraped in a win with .10 of a second difference.

 

Another time on the same race, someone knew you could swim it at the end, he was ahead of me. He dived in the water and it takes probably 8 seconds or so to swim to the finish line. I banged into something just before the ramp and somehow managed to get it to fling off the side of the loop and do a flying corkscrew and hit the finish line about one second before he did. He seemed pissed about it as he was gone before the thumbs up or down selection was available!

 

Biggest fail is whenever I play a death match, I just get slaughtered. My arch nemesis on the menu says he got me around 42 times! Mind you, I don't play with friends, because my real friends dont have the game, or ps3, and I don't just add anyone I don't know for the hell of it. Plus, and this is the saddest part. It was during the one session he got that many kills on me! I think I might have gotten about 6 or 7 on him!

Best win: I was exiting LS Customs and there was some idiot in his car in the parking lot, he had a sticky bomb in his hand ready to throw, I shot the sticky bomb in his hand and he blew up along with his car.

Best win: being strafed by Buzzard minigun while I was on foot. I was running while watching the cement around me fly in my face and for some reason I chucked a sticky up in the air hoping to nail the Buzzard. The helo flew over me so while it passed I turned to see where the sticky landed but didn't see it right away so I detonated it and watched the Buzzard come down in flames.

It was a while ago but i'll never forget it.

The first win is just sweet. Even coming second with such a close result is a win in my eyes.

 

Your fail isn't much of a fail though. Just a rigged deck. A true fail must be Darwinian bruh.

IIRC there were only two of us still alive and one was stuck in the base and died shortly, I was in a Lazer going after the DA. Swooped down behind him, blew his car up, I was feeling proud that I was going to salvage the mission. I turn around to land the Lazer in a somewhat open area on the highway... Boom, clip a telephone pole, explode, mission failed.

 

Notable Win: Not so much me but smooth teamwork. Also on Extradition, also kind of a clusterf*ck in the beginning. I was on the ground and had chased down the DA's package while two guys in Lazers were keeping the cops busy dodging missiles. I headed for the hills to lose my wanted level but I rolled my car and messed it up pretty bad, I think I got it stuck or maybe on fire I don't remember. So there I was running through the bushes on foot with cops not far behind to get near a road when one of the guys in a Lazer pops out of nowhere, lands that bad boy right beside me on the side of a freaking mountain basically, hops out and yells at me over the mic in Russian. I didn't question it. I jumped in and flew low and slow across water until I lost my wanted level and set her down in a patch of grass, grabbed a car back to Madrazo's house.

Sweet It is very possible to land pane on very steep or awkward areas. Just go slow as hell from as low as hell with wheels out and let momentum carry you to a flat landing (all wheels on the ground at once). It takes a bit of practice and a lot of balls.

Yes, I've seen a few awkward / skillful landings but that one impressed me. Something about that Lazer makes me second guess myself even when it's on a relatively good surface, seems like there's a fine line between flying fine and falling like a rock in one of those. Probably the air brakes that trip me up. I've been concentrating more on helicopters in general though so I'm sure it'll come to me one day.
