I know when I first got GTA with the stimulus package, I brought cars which I regretted purchasing (Coquette/Feltzer). Having to destory them to free up garage space when you could only have 10 cars...

Please don't tell me about a game I've been playing for 17 months+.

Nothing has changed.

The only players that couldn't sell high end vehicles were the ones that got them through duping. Legit players have always been able to sell the vehicles they'd purchased.

Couldn't you always sell high end vehicles if they were bought after a certain date (when I can't remember)? Pretty certain I've got a couple high-end vehicles bought legit on my main character that I cannot sell.

That's why I didn't even bother referencing duplicated vehicles.

Play the game the way it's meant to be played.

Yes, there were certain patch cycles where you couldn't sell any vehicle over 100K. My Super Diamond is unsellable.

Umm, OK, deathmatch accepted...

I can confirm duped vehicles aren't sellable incase it matters to anyone. Back in the day when people did the ls sell glitch or whatever and had The $400k (Was most expensive bk then) Eclipse Towers Apt, I felt left out and didn't really enjoy missions and their $. So I did it as well, but now with heists and other changes it's more fun so I got all my stuff legit, I still have unlegit adder in my paleto bay garage though which I don't use lol. :p I hate the adder now, I prefer Grotti Cheetah / Pegassi Zentorno which are my main supers of the moment. Wish they made it so duped vehicles could be taken to lsc and when you sell it it'll prompt "This vehicle is not sellable, however we'll take it off your hands if you want to donate it" and maybe you get a clean slate when you rid of all duped vehicles owned.

Beating a dead horse, while fun, is not ever going to help. Lol

You can just take any car off the street to your garage with the Adder, on prompt select to replace the Adder. Then take the new car out and destroy it.

True, I filled the garage with Elegys lol. But it was just a sudden thought and maybe a way to encourage "dirty" players to come clean again. I just haven't bothered to replace it since I don't use the garage which is why I put it there. I had a unlegit grotti carbonizzare and cheetah but I rebought them legitly replacing the unlegit ones so it's just the adder. Also it'd be more convenient to donate/delete cars. Could be a new award that gives you a shirt "♥ LS Customs" or something for x donations.

I have?! :p but thanks for the concern.

When the game first released on 360/PS3 and the first stimulus package was released I brought a Coquette (When one of the mods was to make it topless) & Feltzer. I just checked an they don't even have a sell option anymore?!, It's the only 2 cars I regret buying! I still can't bring myself to destory them...

So it's obvious this isn't news lol, feel free to delete.

I had to replace an Elegy and 2 Mesas because they're unsellable...

The idea about donating duped cars... Duped cars (at least duped using some method/methods) can be sold just fine, duping has been used as a money making method after all. Don't know why some can't be sold. I think if R* had a reliable way to detect duped cars they'd simply remove them. Or disable duping altogether. They can't do either obviously. Having a donate option would just mean they admit the game is full of glitches and glitchers.

hahaha youre so late to party hahaha read the first line of the 1.07 patch notes!

https://support.rockstargames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201105006--12-10-13-GTA-V-Title-Update-1-07-Notes

you would only receive the "over 50,000" message if youre trying to sell duped cars.
