CE Items are glitched on Xbox One and PC?

Ok so I am an original CE owner and obtaining the items are glitched for me in various ways. Since the launch of the game on Xbox One on GTA O the cars cost money when they should be free, but I already own them so its fine but it just bugs me and well I have the weapons so I don't now what it would show for that. In single player the cars are still free for both Xbone and PC. Also on both Xbox One and PC for SP it shows the CE pistol and shotgun as locked when it should be free and unlocked (I have passed the first heist on both platforms and on Xbox 360 I had everything available for free right away). On PC in Online it shows the cars as "Out of Stock" when they should be in stock and free. All the other stuff in SP like hair cuts clothes and other stuff are free so what is happening and sorry for the jumbled mess of info, but hope its clear enough.

They only unlock when you complete a certain mission.

Nice job reading everything. Pretty generic response don't you say. And already contacted R* support a month ago and they said it is a weird glitch and shouldn't be happening and they could give me a fix. I don't even think there gonna attempt to fix this sadly. Edited by Russi4nW4rrior

They're now purchasables and unlocks on the newer consoles, not sure which mission unlocks them.

Looks like the PC version is still a bit buggy.

The CE items only cost money for people that never actually bought it originally. Its only free in the new gen for people that bought the CE originally or I should say it should be but its all glitched.

I posted a thread about this a while ago - also contacted R*, and they gave me $500K.

I know. I have heard other contacted R* support and they were able to fix it.

I'm on the PS4 and they've been glitched since I transferred over in November. The only items for free I have access to online are the weapons, the cars are still priced. In story mode I had to purchase the garages for each character. I have the tattoos, haircuts, stunt plane trials, special outfits, and the blimp. The weapons unlock as you progress through the story, but the vehicles don't appear on the special vehicles list. I don't expect it to ever be fully fixed. Rockstar gave me 500k in February, and trust me OP this is a widespread problem. I've had a ticket open since November, and the last time I checked it they informed me it was being addressed with no actual timeframe as to when it will be fixed. Which is a nice way of saying it'll probably never be fixed.

as much as I play this game, R* really bit off more than what they can chew. Releasing the game consecutively on different platforms has been a mess. The people that bought the CE have spent 2-3 times as much money as other players to be able to get some exclusive content and some cars for free. It's still a shambles coz not all the CE owners are able to purchase the CE cars for free after they've transfered. We shouldn't have to get in contact with R* abort(support) for them to fix this, we're the f*#!ing premium owner's. C'mon R*, show that you give half a rats ass for us. Even give us an exclusive gun that looks like a rat that shoot's out it's ass for us CE owner's.

Good luck with your ticket if you plan on making one, the avg wait time is 20+ days. After you get an initial response expect another 5-15 days per follow up, and that's if you have a good representative.

It was a huge spit in the face giving our items to everyone for free, but that's marketing and corporate greed at it's finest. That and you can thank the minimum wage earning, and unemployed crybabies who troll the support forums, complaining about how they felt left out for not having access to the items originally. It wouldn't have bothered me as much if R* would've put it on the PS Store as an add on for $19.99.

Wow... Did you really think you would keep your exclusive items forever? I would have thought that R* released those items to the bigger Audience earlier.

Also, here comes that point again, but it's just simply true:

You have bought the CE fpr last gen where you still are the only one who can obtain these special items. You didn't buy a CE for current gen, did you? Be glad they still left you some Benefits in regards to those items (well, they f*cked it up tho)

Well, a quick look at previous R* titles would have told you the same thing. Most CE items get released at some point or another. At least you still have the exclusivity on your old console (Like I said before). I know it's f*cked up that it's glitched for some people, but the concept is/was fine imo.

Original ce owner who transferred, everything from 360 to Xbox one...mine is fine. The guns are free but the cars cost.

Well support replyed back in a day and just asked for proof of the CE purchase and SC ID and E-mail bla bla you now the usual. Hope they reply back tomorrow and hope I get dat MONEEEYY!

 

Edit: lol within 20 min they replyed back after I gave them the info they needed. This is faster then I remember... support team is getting smarter and larger :)

 

Edit: They said they fixed it and i'll check both platforms tomorrow to see if everything is how it should have been. But they never offered me any money just said they fixed the problem, but i'll ask about the money.

Well this is amazing problem fixed and I got 1 mil on Xbox One and PC not 500k each, but 1 mil each. This is amazing.
