mahanddeem
Hello, For several games the last few years, I couldn't help myself but to be emotionally involved with ending in games like Far Cry 3, Dishonored, etc. when you have to make some vey big decisions at the end. For this GTA V I was absolutely sad to see the options when I was at the end mission "Something sensible". How could a poor and close to nothing person like Franklin to kill the 2 people who made him succeed in life, collect money and trust him to be given choices to kill anyone of them? especially Michael. Even if they are all criminals and thieves but the choices are really really animalistic. Of course in game I chose the death wish choice even though at that moment I did not understand but I could have never choose A or B, I would not even finish the game that way. I think Rockstar made a very bad choice regarding endings. I think they should have done something they all might die as a God punishment or so, or they might have helped in something MAJOR that they could clean their slate somehow, but Franklin kills Michael ? or even the psychopath Trevor? Common, I was disappointed by the ending!!! WacoKid614, theGTAking101, UltraGizmo64 and 3 others
donnits
The endings and backstory are the only storytelling elements with any substance we get in GTA V. The story itself is very forgettable, but i do truly like the backstory and endings (well, A and B endings, C is f*cking so bad). Money is the root of all evil. It makes people do terrible things. Betrayal is one of the most common. And that's what Frank does with endings A and B. C is terrible, in my opinion (and plenty of others). oCrapaCreeper
C is not that good but it's the only one that makes sense. A makes no sense with Trevor simply running away from Franklin, and B is completely out of character and unwarranted for Franklin. mahanddeem
It's not about the reaction of Trevor or Michael. How would the writer think that Franklin would kill one of his friends? Kaito Katsumi
Jitterdoomer
Ending C is the best choice to end the game, because you'll get a chance to have all three characters survive and kill the remaining antagonists that screw you over throughout the game. Also, you'll unlock the North Yankton outfit from Prologue for both Michael and Trevor. Edited May 24, 2015 by Jitterdoomer

Loudy
I believe the hate Franklin gets is sadly based on how some people are secretly racist.

King Vercetti
All the endings were poor and rushed. I always pick C because I want all my protags alive, but it is just too Hollywood for me. The other two are more ridiculous. Either A or B would possibly make sense if we got about 5 more hours of storyline, but they both feel tacked on and out of place as is. Homicidal Hipster
All the ending were pretty sh*tty. Even C, it should of been spread out over several missions instead of one big rushed mission.
Corvallis5
I agree endings A and B were horrible. Killing either Trevor or Michael (esp. Michael) would've been really out of character for Franklin the only ending that even made sense was C. V's story was a real disappointment for me. Dangerous and sad
I believe the hate Franklin gets is sadly based on how some people are secretly racist.wrong.its because he's a dull f*ck who was very under devolped compared to micheal and even trevor. I can still do some criminal activites with both T and M post story, but Franklin. Geez...... UltraGizmo64
Cutter De Blanc
If you look at Franklin as a psychopath with no real emotions beyond concern for himself and the things he wants, ending A and B make a little more sense. I think R* did that on purpose they made him kind of like Claude. They didn't focus much on his backstory and we can sort of fill in the blanks... Well, Rockstar says it only has 69 missions since their sense of humor is that of a 12 year old, but there are actually 79 main story missions which makes GTA V the third longest GTA game so it is in no way too short. Besides, all of the filler missions from the previous games became the strangers and freaks missions. If you count them (I do since we do get some development for the characters) the game is easily longer than San Andreas.
Dwnld
I've done the story twice now and I chose C for both times. I found it actually pretty cool to kill everyone who stood on my way (or on my friends way). If I didn't have the C option, I would choose Trevor because he deserves it more than Michael. You know that Michael got a sexy wife.
hype5870
When I was going through the story the first time, I was under the impression that if I chose ending C, I'd be purposely bringing our enemies to the location of the money from the heist and I'd never see the money from it. In my mind it was "I can save Michael and Trevor, but I'd lose all that money" and it made it a tough choice! I still picked C, but little did I realize that I'd still get all that money anyway somehow. If they had made C play out that way, it'd be a much more difficult choice and easier to have to make the more emotionally impactful choice of A or B. The way they did it, C's unfortunately a no-brainer. Edited May 25, 2015 by hype5870

That would seriously piss me off tbh.infact this was the only heist in the game probably where the characters were doing it for themselves.
