Sup guys, today I got to play with some cool peeps during an out of the blue meetup and it went pretty well. Kudos to Wastelandboy.

 

That inspired me and sparked an idea, I love meetups and hanging out with cool peeps who enjoy the auto life in GTAV so I want to host something each weekend called Show n Drag.

 

It will be a bit more organized with the following:

 

CAR SHOW

 

Start the meetup at a parking lot that can hold up to 32 cars (or whatever the max is for a session)

 

Each week will have a car show that follow a specific set of rules for each ride. So a classic, muscle, tuner, exotic, etc...

 

I'll take photos of each car that shows up, and then we'll do a poll to see who wins, that person get's 10k (I'll tell you how we can get that money in a sec)

 

CRUISE

 

After the show (the show can end when 15 minutes after everyone shows up) This gives me time to take photos of everyone's ride.

 

We'll then cruise from the meetup spot to Trevor's airstrip to setup for race wars.

 

DRAG RACING

 

The drag racing will begin once everyone has lined up with someone they are racing, there will be a parking spot, and there will be an area to line up with other cars to race. One person can help with the countdown launch (waving hands and dropping them: thanks wastelandboy) and another can be in charge of the area to organize the parking and lining up.

 

I'd love the cars to be a little more even so there is a bit of a tougher competition. So people can let us know what upgrades they have or don't have. And this opens up for a more race wars feel where players can wager against one another.

 

 

RULES --------->>>

 

No hitting anyone's cars, during the cruise be at least a car distance apart, don't bring if you don't bring the appropriate class of car you're ineligible for the show prize, and cannot participate in drags. No swapping cars during the show and/or drag. We want things to be fair and organized, you have to help in keeping it that way.

 

If you damage your car and want to get a clean one, either a) take the trip to LSC or b) if you destroy it, drive a good distance away so as to not to draw any attention from police. AND PLEASE don't bring the police, they ruin everything

 

Anyway, these are just the thoughts I had, so if people like this let me know, I'm thinking about hosting one tomorrow or Monday. I am in CST and 9-10pm is a good start.

Awesome, glad you guys are interested. I will be setting up for tonight if enough people want to come along for tonight, I also thought about deleting my old crew to make a new one. This way I can have a nice database of people who would like to do this regularly.

Yea, I'm going to figure out a time that would work for EU and US. I think what can happen is once we start getting some regular times, I can have other leaders start the event sooner than I can personally get on and just save one spot for me for when I arrive. My time is set since I have two kiddos that I put to bed by 8pm every night, but usually not done with the whole process til 9pm.

 

I figured if we started early and I have some good peeps to rely on they can go ahead and start the event sooner and then when I arrive we'd be at the drag racing aspect and having a blast.

Awesome, I plan on doing some recording myself in the future, but I might exhaust myself with all the setups and organizations haha so someone else getting video would be awesome.

Found a Good spot in Downtown vinewood has about 28 car spots, but plenty more space if needed.

Ok, so maybe if some people are in a similar timezone and are ok to get up at that time I can hold off til then, but we actually might only have gotten started between 9 and 10 anyway, so you won't miss much. Then again will all these timezone differences I dont know if I could get anyone to show.
