Snckrz
So I saw that many others had this problem, but no one answerd them so I am trying it again. After I replaced some files with OpenIV it works a few time, if I block GTA V in the Firewall, but then a bit later the Social Club Launcher says "Can't connect to R* Servers" and it needs an internet connection, thus redownloading all the files I modded. I am sure there must be a way to stop this, as there are so many mods which require stuff to be replaced with OpenIV. (Besides using the pirated version after you bought the original version) I hope someone can help me, and the others who have the same problem. €: I just noticed I postet in the wrong subforum. Would be nice if an admin could move this thread. Edited May 23, 2015 by Snckrz

Ryder15
using the latest open.asi, create a file in the GTAV directory called "Mods" inside the folder, create another folder called "Update" in the main gtav directory locate the "update.rpf" file, copy it, and past it in the update folder you created earlier. now, say we are installing a custom shirt you will need to edit the x64v file, copy that, and past it into the mods folder u created earlier now install the shirt using the copy of the x64v filer, this will keep the original in the GTAV directory untouched, and using the mods one. make sense? im new to this myself, this is how i got my own custom shirt to work.
