Stupid question regarding Editor Director?

While progressing though the game i've unlocked a bunch of people but where can i start the director side of the editor?

 

The only thing i can see are the videos i created with the videos i record in game.

For me, when I go first go into the Rockstar Editor it's the third option down.

You can go to your contacts on the phone - Los Santos talent, and it enters director mode.

So that's what that is...I saw the contact and i was like what is that? but never got around to calling them.
