Like if i were to leave and quit the game would it still be online? Or would it kick everyone? And would others that were invited still allowed to join it. When you quit "your" private lobby, if there are others players with you, then one of them become the new "host".The Host, host nothing (lol). Every players are hoster (server) and players/users (client). (On GTA Online) Host means you're the creator (not necessarily), you're the "admin" of the lobby/session (you can set the lobby).Rockstar use the "Host" term, just to do like other companies (with big MMOs) and then make believe that GTA Online works on Dedicated server, while it's 100% bullsh*t (P2P). If you quit, and you want come back, the new host (or players in this lobby) have to re-invite you. If all players quit this lobby (before you come back after an invit), then "your" lobby is closed/terminated. You need to create another one and re-invit all players.
