So I have been really into this tv show on Netflix called "Departures" it's about these guys that travled the world for a couple years, it got me thinking what are some trips I want to take before I kick the bucket.

1. The Pan-Amercian highway on a motor-scooter, motorcycle or an auto-cycle

2. A Vespa trip around the coast of Ireland

3. A Vespa trip around the coast of New Zealand

4. A Vespa Trip around the coast of Australia

5. A Vespa trip across Canada,

6. Visit all of the lower 48 on a Vespa in one trip.

7. A Vespa trip through Europe

8 go around the entire U.S. On a Vespa

(You would never guess I love vespas)

Name your dream adventure!

That kid loves his Vespas. ;)

I've circled the continental 48 in a car a few times...along with cutting straight across the middle.

It will take you forever on a Vespa and you may just freak out having to scooter though some of the more unexciting scenery.

I highly recommend it though. It gave me greater respect for the diverse landscape and diversity of people in this country. My stops were almost all smallish towns and such...so I really got to see the difference in people this country has to offer.

Maybe trailer your vespa and just spend a day riding in neat little areas and then trailer up and move to the next neat little area?

That's a great idea, maybe I should try and get some corporate sponsors and try and make a documentary..... I know of a guy that did the pan amercain highway in a VW bus he converted to run off of used cooking oil he was almost arrested in Mexico because he took some cooking oil without asking. He eventually made it to the tip of South America.

A list of things I’d like to do.

1: Climb Mount Kilimanjaro-- go anywhere in Africa, actually.

2: Gain a modicum of control over the way I feel. I want to wake up, and I want to be that man.

I'm very interested in visiting the Eiger North Face. I'm also interested in climbing it but that's just a dream as I'm no climber at all but I've read alot about it and it fascinates me.

One day I will at least look at it and think of the dramas.

Beautiful Disaster

....I think you should buy a Vespa.

I laughed embarrassingly loud at this.

Greece, Rome, Italy, Paris, and I'd love to go back to Australia. I was there for 6 months and I never really saw as much as I should :/

Trek from Lands End to John O'Groats, the length of the UK.

Do various walking paths around Europe like The Way of St James in Spain and the Lycian Way in Turkey.

As for less realistic goals I'd like to backpack from Egypt to South Africa and from Canada to Northern Mexico along the West Coast.

I'd also love to trek around some really untouched areas like the mountains of Papua New Guinea or Eastern Siberia.

I was considering about backpacking this summer somewhere in Europe, perhaps through Scotland and Ireland. After asking my friends if somebody was up for it they complained that it was too far away so we may end up doing the Camino de Santiago -The Way of St James as you may know it as- , which, though is something I am not too enthusiatic about (August, 30ºC; it can be an agony), it's preferably to staying home drinking beer all day. I had been considering to make the Camino de Santiago with my bike though, still I had to go alone so it's kind of a letdown.

Another backpacking destination I had been considering is the Balkans; Croatia, Montenegro... they have some beautiful scenery and medieval towns.

On the other hand, some other trips I have in mind that and I really hope I get to make.

- A motorcycle trip through the South West of South America; Northern Argentina, Andian Highlands, Atacama desert and adjacent areas/countries (Argentina - Chile - Bolivia - Peru). Definitely some of the most overwhelming landscapes on Earth yet normally kind of forgotten by people.

- Route 66 in a classic American car. Come on, who hasn't ever dreamed about about it??

- Another trip across the USA, including Baja California, Mexico. For some reason I've sort of lost interest in this one in the last few years... I used to dream awake for hours with this one.

Also, I often consider about making some kind of trip following the remains of the Cold war; abandoned airfields or submarine bases, radar stations, silos... it may be fun.
