Why do people care if a van holds more than two people? It's funny how most two door cars have a backseat yet we can't use them. I just don't understand people sometimes. I guess most people here never seen nor been in a work van, huh?

 

I can't wait to read the lame excuses for the super game. My god that's going to be a sh*t show.

One of the main uses of a van in this game is as crew vehicles.Being able to transport 4 people is pretty important,not to mention shooting out of the back feels pretty cool.Although vans in real life often only have 2-3 seats up front,the back is often custom fitted with extra seats.As for the super cars game the Zentorno will be gangbanged to oblivion and I have a feeling something really mediocre with few people upvoting it will win.

You dont need custom fitted anything. A few companies still make vans with more than 3 seats, gmc savannah, ford transit, all have passenger options as well as work vans. I just think most people are confusing vans with minivans.

 

The way I understand it, almost all the vans in the game are work van based vehicles. The gang burrito is a custom van, so that makes sense it seats 4. Sure its cool to shoot out the back etc.

Although its pretty interesting about the Ford Transit and the like. They are actually shipped to the US as passenger vehicles and most places remove the seats immediately after receiving. The US has some strange laws regarding light trucks. Google the Chicken Tax for more information. Thats why there are no utes imported and such. Pretty interesting stuff.

There are many faster vehicles that hold 4 that make good crew cars!

Well although it looks nice,the Surfer is ridiculously slow.Vans like the gang Burrito,Speedo and even a 4 seater version of the Youga are decently quick,and viable options for a crew vehicle.And besides although there's plenty of other faster 4 seaters,people may prefer to roll in a fan as it suits their crew style or even just because it's something different compared to all the 4 seater cars.

Completely agree with you. There's not many vehicles that players drive that other guys will actually stop what they're doing just to have a look at your van. When I first modded my Youga and took it to the streets it got a lot of great attention. I'm never going to use it for missions, even if it did have 4 seats. There are faster vehicles that hold more. Kuruma & Insurgent have the heist vehicle market sewn up.

 

Van's are purely for fun and for show. We don't need to carry tools and we don't have dogs in the game so we should be voting for the Van which looks the best and is just all round awesome to drive.

Man, the day I get a vehicle just for show. Or cruising in a van. Man. I'll go blare out the Foghat song we're all familiar with while a Tornado tells us to drive faster.

 

@Chloroform Unless I can actually put stuff in the van that I can use, like a usable ladder, or heist gear, then it's not a work van. It's just an empty 2-seater van. Or in the Surfer's case, a 2-seater van with 4 seats.

 

Two seater van is exactly what the Youga is, btw. Woot woot.

Well I like the Journey because it's an RV. I use it for the purpose intended. I go camping with friends and we take it on road trips. When we go on Off roading; we use it as a command center. The Journey seats 6 which is another plus. It also serves as a decent photo platform for different photo angles. Sure there are faster means of travelling across San Andreas. However, I've discovered some pretty breath-taking sights in this beast. Even though I understand the charm of it as a mobile meth lab; I'd like to see a clean version. (The Brute Camper isn't purchasable or storable)...-because Winnebago
