Back when I didn't have to give paintjob purchases a second-look before confirming

 

Buying fancy clothes just to mock my friend's same old boring outfit.

It's funny. Once I had all that money, it completely ruined the game and I wanted to lose it all. Now I have, and I want it all back

I loved having all that money, being able to chrome everything just cause and buying an annihilator and the dump. I think I even have the rv too. Those were the days.

The freedom of trying out cars, repainting, changing rims anytime I want without making a hole in my wallet has never felt better

I remember every car I stole would be taken right to lsc and modded 100%. Even tho I had no intention of keeping it.

A few I gave away but most of them just got blown up or left by the side of the road in favor of a different car that was then taken right to lsc.

The last few days before the final banhammer came down, I had spent most of my money and I used to have my friend completely mod cars for me to sell. Of course, they patched it the next day

Billionaire bounties were the best, you'd see the notification pop up, hit pause, and watch the whole lobby start moving toward them.

I can remember exactly where I was when I was gifted money: I was standing on top of the control tower at the airport casually talking to my friends around 11:30 P.M and out of the blue, I was gifted 2.6 billion. God, I was f*cking ecstatic. Ah man. I miss GTA Online.

I bought Z-Types just to prove to my friend I had been gifted the money as he was skeptical and poor.

 

So many Merryweather Mercs deployed. Must of been a good era for them too.

Haha, yeah, I remember all right. Once I heard about that banhammer I bought 1,000 Adders to get rid of most of my money. That took 45 minutes of finger cramping button pressing.

It happens. I also got neverous of being banned at any time. I still miss having what felt like unlimited amount of GTA online money. It felt good being a rich low level player and not having to waste time doing repeative missions. I don't remember exactly but I think you could of made something like 15 million in around 20 minutes, without the need of any friend. Duping and selling vehicles now just require too much effort, with much more complicated instructions.

There's a sort of glory to being a player from day 1 (well, day 3 for me I guess, cause of the server issues).

 

Watching the game evolve and change is a really cool experience I would hate to have missed.

 

And the thing is we're still watching the game change to this very day.

 

Remember when we thought Heists were a few weeks away back in October 2013?

 

Remember when Rockstar gifted players $500,000 as an apology for server malfunctions and then everybody bought Eclipse Towers?

 

Remember only starting with a pistol and having to work your way up. I felt so accomplished finally unlocking that AK-47.

 

Hell I've still even got my first car (JB-700) and the Roosevelt.

 

I love this game and have stuck with it for over a year and a half now. I can't wait to see where it goes from here.

We called ourselves hoopty rich. My boys, and I would pick up a car on the side of the road and soup it up just to drive down the street. We wore crazy clothes because we didn't care. We bought everything on pegasus. I think I've owned every high end apartment in Los Santos, and definitely every car on both websites. I remember getting on, and it was all gone with the exception of 50 k. I later earned like 200 mil on those crew races. Now I'm down to 150 mil which isn't to bad since I have my garages pretty much set. But I miss it though.

 

I used to set bounties, and call mercs and lamar like crazy. I got my money first from my friend, and it was like 1 bil. Then I was running around in this battle lobby, and accidentally killed this guy who had like 3 bil I want to say so I convinced my friend to take half. Never worried about the banhammer from money but definitely didn't use DNS codes.

I lobby hopped and stalked modders in my manana with a hooker until I had amassed a fortune. I wish we had 3 garages then. Christmas was a blast

Its why I have the Dump, Titan, Luxor and Z-Type. I used to send the mugger, mercenaries and set a 9000$ bounty on the same player constantly just for fun.
