icey701
Im wondering if anyone has figured out the steps to add new mods to vehicles that have none. As far as i have tried i pulled a few mods from sandking and calvacade inside x64i.rpf/levels/gtav/vehiclemods then added them to a new bison_mods.rpf , However i can not find any .xml / .dat or .meta files that define lsc mods there for bringing the bison in there is not showing the new mods. Any ideas?
SonofUgly
Vehicle mod kits are defined in carcols.ymt and assigned to vehicles in carvariations.ymt. You can't edit .ymts so you'll only be able to edit DLC vehicles (which use .metas).

icey701
Will we get the ability to edit .ymt in the future?
Alvarez
We can edit savegames and add mod parts from another vehicles with Hexedit or Savegame Editor. http://gtaforums.com/topic/677728-vehicle-body-styling-database-save-editor/ http://gtaforums.com/topic/712864-hex-edited-vehicle-thread/ How will you call a LSC mod part modification anyway? TbirdMan
I recall the Open IV team showing off ymt editing which is in testing right now, we'll see. CORRECTION: they were only viewing .ymt 3D models. Edited May 19, 2015 by TbirdMan
