spiers Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 well i did Cap the Collector easily enuff andnow im up to "Keep your Friends Close..." i can get up to killing Lance, and i can kill him and all, but its the next part where i always get killed! i run to the office and it shows the cut scene, then the Mafia come @ me, and i shoot them with ther Python, but they never seem to stop coming? is this true? is there just an endless suply of them trying to get in the office? i've been told that when the coast is clear i should take out the Rocket Launcher and blow Sonny away with that... but everytime i think the coast is clear and i get even close to firing a rocket at Sonny, a whole bunch of Mafia thugs shoot me up, and i die! so am i using the wrong strategie or wat? and is there really an endless supply of those thugs? plz help is u can Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Clutch Fan Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 What I did was drop a sh*tload of them and ran for the big guy with my spaz. It was pretty easy but I had 150 health and armor. It helped a whole lot. Plus dont forget about the health and armor pickup at the bottom of the stairs. I grabbed it after I killed Lance. PHREAK76 Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 Go out and go to ammunation buy some grenades and a spaz then when you enter you are all stocked up ignore the money nicking procedure they are using then go and destroy the 3 limos parked out side then there will be no more people to shoot you then kill sonny now make your way up stairs lance is not what you would call heavily armed or guarded for that matter there is a regenerating health behind the helipad keep collecting that if you keep getting shot now kill lance and his followers then you have completed the mission there is a nice cutscene waiting for you. Viggen Posted January 8, 2003 Share Posted January 8, 2003 What I did was to buy a Spaz shotgun and Python before I started the mission and when I came so far, I used the python on the guys at each side of Sonny, ran down the stairs and stood right infront of Sonny and used the Spaz on him... BooUrns Posted January 9, 2003 Share Posted January 9, 2003 They DO eventually stop coming if you blew up the limos at the beginning... when you come back from killing Lance you will still have to take down some guys that didn't seem to be there before, BUT if you blew up the limos at some point they will stop coming. I know this because that's how I completed the mission - I was face to face with Sonny and no one else came, so I had all the time in the world to get a good position and everything. xober Posted January 9, 2003 Share Posted January 9, 2003 I used a gatling gun for lance, got back to watch the cutscene, ran downstairs to get some health/armour and stayed downstairs. I then ran through the corridor and killed Sonny also with the gatling. I never had to kill Sonny's bodyguards(probably dissapear when Sonny dies)and noticed the limo's not before completing the mission. Good luck. spiers Posted January 9, 2003 Author Share Posted January 9, 2003 i did the same as u Viggen and it worked ! i shot the bodyguards with the python, then i flicked over to the Spaz , held down R1 and blew Sonny away! i didn't even realise it was Sonny i was hittig, i thought it was another thug i only had 20 health when i finished (and i when for Sonny with 100 armour & 100 Health! now that i've done it i can't find the Hunter! is it supposed to b @ the Air Base or some where on the 1st island? WhoooMan Posted January 10, 2003 Share Posted January 10, 2003 Me, of course I wetn after Lance first then I sat like a duck on the top of the stairs near my office, I kneed so the "big guy" would miss me most of the time, as I use my favorite UZI to run around and shoot at same time.
