GTA V: Road Trip

Has anyone of you decided to go for a road trip in GTA V? How long does it take to roam around the whole map as well as do stuff in countrysides? I'm thinking of doing road trip in first person using the Camper.

I often just cruise around Blaine County on my chopper bikes and sometimes in vintage cars.If you go fast and stick to the highway,I think it takes around 10 minutes to go around Blaine County, but if you just cruise around and explore,I think it could take at least 30 minutes.

Not sure on the time it takes, but usually I'll go for a blast around the highways in a newly tuned car, to check it out.

I've gone on a road trip a few times, but I've always found it to be quite underwhelming. The games been out a while now, so it's highly unlikely you'll explore, and find something of interest. What you will find is a very boring, uncreative map.

Wrong. I looked and found an entertaining and creative map. You couldn't be more wrong.

Its a matter of preferences.

Non Biased GTA 4 fan

I take the RV and do it sometimes. But the coolest road trip to do is take a BAN RAN TAN and ride it's a good truck imo.

Road trip? To where? Paleto Bay and back? San Andreas was way better at doing road trips. Pile three homies in the car and head to LV for a crazy week. What happens in Venturas stays in Venturas.

So yesterday I actually did what you said. I drove from Los Santos Airport to Paleto Bay using Trevor. It took about 40 minutes, but it was pretty good IMO. I was roleplaying: obeying the traffic rules, listening to Rebel Radio, meeting hillbillies and stuff. I might do that again.

Road trips in SA? There was no feeling of doing road trips unless you went from LS to SF to LV at the same time. The cities were simply way too close to each other. It doesn't take two minutes to drive from LS to LV. Hell, in V even driving from LS to Sandy Shores takes longer than LS to LV.

That said, using only the LS/Senora Freeway, it takes around 6-8 minutes at traffic speed to drive from LS to Paleto Bay. I like to do that sometimes.

i went on a sea adventure from Vespucci beach all the way around and back on the Speedophile. took a good 40minutes. Hit some nice surf along the way and did some nice jumps. Also there is some real nice ocean scenery around the northern points of the map

Every now and again, I like to get a Regina with luggage on top, pick up a passenger or two and just head north.

Usually with Michael and Amanda while periodically listening to 'Holiday Road' for extra effect.

Try a walking tour.

Use a rubber-band on the left stick to keep you walking forwards. Use the right stick to direct. Hit D-right to talk to folks as you pass.

It'll take awiles (2hrs 20 min north to south) so have a beverage handy.
