[WIP|V] Texture Toolkit

Hey guys, this may be a dum question, i used OPENIV, so i have the latest open.asi

 

i created a tshirt for franklin, it work great, still does. now im trying to edit a texture for the buffelo sport S (with srpunk livery)

 

as far as i can tell, im doing everything right, saving the dds as the correct files, DXT5 and DXT1 for some other stuff. But i can never ever get the game to load, always self updates because the patchday1ng DLC.rpf has gone corrupt after i rebuild the archive and start GTAV. anyone out there have a solution? cheers.

And yeah, I also can see them in both Texture Toolkit and OpenIV

 

Just spawn a pounder in the game and get away from it while you look at it to make it crash

Indeed, I get the same error when I use your files. But when I open and save the files with the current version of the tool (150522-Preview) it seems to work fine.

 

And @all that get a zlib error: If your texture quality is set to "very high" try to change it to high and try again.

Hi! I have a problem using this program.
It works, export, import and importing with OpenIV. But there is a problem. When I use modded textures the game crashes. This happens sometimes, and I dont know what is wrong. Ca someone help me? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Are you using the current version (150522)? There was a bug in an older version that could lead to crash. Please check that. If u used an older version, just load and save the file with the current version.

when I replace GTA V/x64c.rpf/levels/gta5/props/commercial/v_fastfood.rpf/v_ret_247_bread1.ydr to a custom texture, it does apply in openiv browser, but not in-game. This goes for ALL second-hand items (items displayed in multiple interiors)

 

Please look into this!

I know my friend, but ive been looking for hours, definetely they are not in another rpf. There's only one bread.ydr, but there is a v_ret_247shelves_01.Yft, I think this .YFT overwrites it or something?

Man, I dont know how install this. Do I have to put all the newest files on the previous version? Cos this version doesnt have an .exe file.

If that isnt what I have to do, tell me how to install it, beacuse the game keep crashing. This is what happens. I have a cracked version of GTA. So I replaced some files of the male multiplayer skin. One jacket and one shirt. When I try to select them with the Native Trainer, the game freezes. This doesnt happen if I select the textures quickly. Please help me.

What are the YDD files supposed to contain and what is their purpose? I opened three different .ydd files to see what they have and they have some random names and 0 under textures.

Nice! Will you be adding .yft support as well? :)

 

I can read/write maybe 80% of yft by now. I will check whether they contain enough textures such that adding yft support makes sense.

Just download the zip-file from the first post and unpack it. There is an exe.

ydd are drawable dictionaries. They contain multiple drawable files (ydr). The random names you see are hashes of the name. The name is not inside the file so the tool simply don't know it. And since containing textures is optional for drawable files, there are often 0 textures.
