Just watched Microsoft's conference and they announced backwards compatibility which is a f*cking grace. Hope Sony can do the same thing since it's definitely possible now and Microsoft will be giving them immense competition with this. Microsoft tried that with 360 already and then they kinda gave up and decided not to do it anyway. So it never worked properly. But it was a good sales boost. And I really enjoyed that highly choreographed footage of Star Wars Battlefront. Now show some real f*ckin' gameplay. Not been looking forward to this at all since I'm really not a fan of FPS's, but that trailer had me pleasantly surprised. If you can do that whenever and wherever, this could potentially be the ultimate VR headgear. But not sure how many games will work with this, and Minecraft isn't exactly something that comes to mind when selecting a game to play with. I'm seeing great potential for professional and home implementations, that is if it works anything like it says on the tin. Augmented Reality has some very real limitations, so I'm interested to see if and how they worked around those to make something truly game changing.
