Affalterbach
I have been looking for a steering wheel for my ps4. And since the Thrustmaster T80 and Project Cars come together in a box it only costs $80. But is that a good steering wheel? Is it comfortable how it turns etc? Or do you guys recommend another steering wheel for the ultimate racing feel? I'll pay till $200 for a steering wheel, so please something in that money range. Sorry if this doesnt deserve its own thread...
tuareg
The t80 is a waste of money. It doesn't really act like a racing wheel at all. It's almost like a wheel shaped controller. If you're getting one get the t100. It has forcefeedback and it feels great. It costs twice as much as the t80, but you're already buying one and the t80 is largely a waste of money because it's crap and it isn't even cheap. SapphireCrystal
If you can pay a bit more it'd recommend Logitech G27. An amazing wheel. Or, you can also get Logitech DFGT for 129.99. I got it, it's quite good if it didn't have a wierd steering issue out of the box. So be mind of that. But if not for that, it's an amazing wheel too. Fraizer
Errr, what's the weird steering issue, sapphire?
TheOneLibertonian
Don't get the T80. It does not have force feedback and it feels cheap. Get the T100 instead. My T300 RS feels great, but it cost the same as a PS4. Sadly, it's not compatible with either Xbox One or PS4. I hope when GT7 comes out, Logitech wheels should be compatible with PS4. Affalterbach
Since everyone says the T80 is sh*t and doesnt have force feeback than i wont buy it. Force feedback is a must. Its gonna be the T100 than, i guess. Also it only costs $110. Gonna do some research first, YT videos etc. Im glad i asked it here to you guys. I was at the point of ordering it from a local shop yesterday, glad i didnt!

However, it might never be compatible with the PS4.
SapphireCrystal
Ah, sorry. I didn't notice you needed it for PS4. Errr, what's the weird steering issue, sapphire? When I turn left or right a bit the wheel comes off center which is really annoying and quite stupid to drive so it's just sitting on a shelf right now. I had my friend's DFGT for a couple of months before I got my G27 and the default position kept shifting around 10-15° counter-clockwise. I could fix it temporarily by unplugging it and replugging it back in. But it was pretty annoying.
Rebel
Well glad this has been cleared up. Next time post about it in the PS4 topic. Affalterbach
