Buzzard Spawn Locations

Doe anyone have any idea why the Buzzard always spawns miles away from your current location? I know there are only certain places it can acually spawn, but when i'm standing in an airport i would expect it to spawn in that same airport, not another location about 3-4 minutes drive away.

youre too close when calling for it. As a general rule, call for it 4-5 blocks from where you want it.

How far, roughly, is a block? I'm aware it's an american term but i'm not sure on it's size.

In more simpler terms, make sure the spawn location for the buzzard is at around 1/2 to 3/4 of the extended minimap away from you. Not sure if that makes sense actually.

there are streets where you live separated by intersections....correct?

make certain you are at least 4-5 intersections from where you want to pick it up.

To explain just a little, it's basically because they try not to spawn things in the game in your line of sight, for immersion/realism. Pegasus therefore won't spawn things at locations you're very close to (even if you're not looking at the spawn location, but never mind that). To manipulate the system properly you need to memorize the spawn locations (for helicopters there aren't that many and for planes, even less); then only call when you're nearest to the desired location out of all the ones available, but still far enough away to not break the spawn. I find this is trickiest when trying to get a spawn at either the hospital or the helipads by the marina - if you're traveling between the two you need to call Pegasus somewhere in the middle, and finding the sweet spot on either side can be tricky.

At the airport it's a little simpler. Call Pegasus before you make any jump to get in and you should be fine. If you're already in, drive to the back hangars (e.g. where Titan of a Job takes place) and then call.

And yet, Rockstar has no problem spawning unlimited enemies on certain missions and survivals, right in front of our very eyes!

Logic, eh?
