Exporting

OMG guy....I spent weeks on this mod, I finally finished it, 23 minutes ago....and now I want to export it...HOWEVER. I have no idea how I export into asi. I'm using Microsoft Visual 2013. I can not find a way to export, I looked all over the internet, can't find anything. Someone help me out?

Mhm, Its not working, it might be my script, I'm going to try do with with a old one I created.

It was my code, I tried removing a line that I think was messing it up, I'll try now.

 

 

EDIT:

 

Nope. I think I messed up....I started writing it on C++ then decided to use C#, so I think I got half C++ script, half C#

Can you help me out bro? I just tried bringing my script back over to C++, I sorted most errors out but there are a couple I can't get rid of.

 

 

So here, I define things;

	Vector3 playerPosition = ENTITY::GET_OFFSET_FROM_ENTITY_IN_WORLD_COORDS(playerPed, 0.0, 0.0, 0.0);	int PartnerModel = GAMEPLAY::GET_HASH_KEY("(Adding after Fix)");	int RandomModel = GAMEPLAY::GET_HASH_KEY("a_f_y_tourist_01");	int playerGroup = PED::GET_PED_GROUP_INDEX(playerPed);

Alright, Now here its saying,

playerPosition

Partner

PartnerModel

playerGroup

are undefined....

 

Here's my code:

                                Partner = PED::CREATE_PED(26, PartnerModel, playerPosition.x, playerPosition.y, playerPosition.z, 1, false, true);				PED::SET_PED_CAN_SWITCH_WEAPON(Partner, false);				WEAPON::GIVE_WEAPON_TO_PED(Partner, GAMEPLAY::GET_HASH_KEY("WEAPON_(Adding after Problem Fixed)"), 1, false, false);				PED::SET_PED_COMBAT_ABILITY(Partner, 1);				PED::SET_PED_AS_GROUP_MEMBER(Partner, playerGroup);					break;

Hole of the .cpp, its a lot plus its took me ages to create, I don't want someone to fix the error then post it taking my credit :/

Fixed all that, It was outside of my case 0: :p Rookie error XD

 

Just one problem left....

Partner = PED::CREATE_PED(26, PartnerModel, playerPosition.x, playerPosition.y, playerPosition.z, 1, false, true);

That first bit,

 

 

Partner =

 

Why is it saying Partner isn't defined, Partner is a variable, it shouldn't need defining...Should it???

Then PartnerModel, playerPosition etc is not variables? :blink: This is all the variables.

Add Ped before Partner.

1. Again. You trying to use variable, that defined in another scope (another function etc).

2. Are you using switch-case? You have to conclude case/default statement in brackets ({, }) if you want initialize variables there:

switch (someVar){	case 1:	{		// do something		break;	}	case 2:	{		// do something				break;	}		default:	{		// do something		break;	}}

P.S. You really need read more c++ manuals/books.
