UK still off for me.

FINALLY...on the status page R* has finally acknowledged that there is an issue.

That's the point. For hours I've tried to get some kind of answer to the problem (earlier, did the usual..router..cleared cache...re-downloaded, etc..). Looking around the net, found similar complaints but NOTHING from Rockstar itself. Only much later was there a fragment of an acknowledgement. If I'd known earlier, I wouldn't have wasted time doing all the other crap, trying to figure out what was wrong my end. It's not as if they would have NO idea that a problem was occurring right from the beginning. Oh well, business as usual, I guess.

ive got one friend (from uk) online now

 

edit: installed app on mobile, friend shows playing online on app, offline for 38days on ps3 ?

It's not that simple...
Whatever Sony did during the maintenance really f*cked with the communication between the PSN and GTA5 servers on PS3. Nobody knows the specifics but it may take time to fix. This kind of stuff is extremely complex and there is no magic "fix it" button that can be pressed to magically make it all work.
We may well see an update before it works again.

No doubt they're (R*) working on fixing the problem PS3 is having with online. It's been down for 12 hours from mollipop post, so must been something major that has f*cked up for PS3-R* & gta online. Doubt it's an update but maybe R* was testing limitations for the upcoming update and something went wrong? I dunno but f*ck it I ain't going online until problems solved. Edited by Miauuu5_7

What the f* !!! Last night i was playin gta online than it disconnected me but i really didnt got signed out, i tought that it was a problem from my ps or the internet... Today i wanted to play but nothing, i tried all kind of things, watched all the youtube videos about all the problems that could occure, finally i saw here that i wasnt the only one, but all the ps3 players had this problem. Ive read all the comments and spain, india, germany... Im in romania and its not workin so all we can do is wait till they solve the problem. Peace out
