Weed Farm - Will R* ever fix it?

Seriously, after you robbed the weed farm once, the icon to rob it again will NEVER show up.

This is an issue since September 2013 and R* still hasn't fixed it yet. Why? Does nobody care about that? I think that's a MAJOR issue.

For f*cks sake, I wish we'd go back to PS2, Game Cube and Xbox times, back when you bought a f*cking game and it was actually complete at release...

Lethal Vaccine

For f*cks sake, I wish we'd go back to PS2, Game Cube and Xbox times, back when you bought a f*cking game and it was actually complete at release...

Amen to that. I f*cking hate HD GTA with releasing a incomplete game and then using this nonsense called "Patches" to fix stuff. Meanwhile, the Patches just effect the game in a negative way with a whole other aspect. One thing "might" get fixed, and then something else happens.

Just avoid Patches like the plague! :) 1.0 for the win.

Weed farm?

yeah it's at Mt. Chiliad, further behind Trevor's airstrip where you do the smuggling missions. You can kill the people there and rob their money. The game says then you should come back later to rob it again, but the weed icon never shows up again.

Amen to the OP.

Ah, the golden days when a game didn't need a bajillion patches to run flawlessly...

Lethal Vaccine

Lol...Yeah, it's been discussed since September or October 2013...

Amen to the OP.

Ah, the golden days when a game didn't need a bajillion patches to run flawlessly...

There is bugs in III, VC, SA, LCS, and VCS. But the point is, players adapted and learned work arounds to said bugs. Now, you get a Patch, but ultimately the Patch will effect something else in the long run.

Moral of the story, you will have MORE bugs than when the game was first released as time goes by. I prefer buying a game, with bugs and all and maintaining the SAME version. I don't need any Patch that will break something else...

The story sucked in past games, the mechanics were MUCH improved in GTAV.

Clearly, is not getting fixed. The game is 2 f*cking years old, and this is known from day 1, so, no, is not getting fixed.

lol, yes let's make a game perm unpatched, leaving the gamebreaking bugs that devs may not have noticed.

Things like this aren't as important to R* as GTA Online stuff, you all should know that by now.

Peck R. Wood

I bet that raids were scattered all around the map as side-actitivies but R* decided to brush them off in order to add them later as a new exiting feature in future Single Player DLCs.

More specifically, north of Grapeseed, on some dirt road heading north out of town. It runs fairly parallel with the highway just east of it. If memory serves, on the map it shows it as a dead end road.

But yes, apparently after it's raided the first time, the drug dealers decide to leave the cows with the dope, presumably because high cows can go into the slaughterhouse all mellowed out and calm. Or something.

It also explains why, after eating hamburgers made from said cows, you immediately get the munchies. Maybe it's an eat-ception.

I have only got it to appear, while playing as Trevor, and only one time (per play through).

so long as we're on this topic, i wanna ask a similar question and get a response from you guys. im trying to complete everything on the social club checklist and there's about a dozen more random encounters that i need (i have 100 percent completion) but none of them ever show up anymore when i drive to their location. why is this and how can i fix it? is there a fix? thank you for the replies.

Now that's taken me back...the last time I saw the icon was just after I unlocked Trevor way back.......shame, as it was a cool little feature. Ah well...it's not like R* f!cked up with some of the other parts of GTA V........oh wait............

It's classed as a random event on social club, and seeing as those are mostly unique encounters...

The message to "come back in a week or so" was probably left in there... because they were too busy trying to make online playable.

Funny you say that because my two most greatest GTA experiences were on the PS2 in the III-era. I still think VC and SA are miles better than V too, regardless of how old they are.

People should really remove their nostalgia goggles, I know people keep saying that but seriously...

GTA 3 and Vice City aged horribly, San Andreas fared a bit better but it has the most frustraging missions and mechanics in the entire series which puts me off doing another playthrough, and I don't know how this is possible but GTA IV managed to age worse than the PS2 era games. After playing GTA V and going back to IV, everything from movement to driving felt floaty and the reduced vibration from the controller actually affected the experience a lot, the shooting was god awful unless you used a mouse and the driving is only good when you get used to it.

The series is evolving weather you like it or not, you either deal with it or keep complaining like how old people wish we were still using CRT TVs in black and white.
