Confess: Do you enjoy adding mods more than the game sometimes?

Yes, with The Sims, like 10 years ago. Not with GTA. I added a few stunt courses to VC 10+ years ago but I never enjoyed those more than the game itself, and that was also the last GTA I also purchased on the PC so I haven`t played any mods since. Didn`t GTA V ban all the mods? Boy that must suck ass.

Absolutely! I play 3D GTA's heavily modded, especially, after several times of having fun with the vanilla games. Old games are very mod friendly than HD GTAs.

Its a lot fun and refreshing experience with mods.

I have a heavily modded game of IV. I feel that they help extend the atmosphere, and correct many development shortcomings.

I have never had a PC good enough for mods but the one thing I know is they extend the life of games.

IV with it's huge range of mods available still has life in it. That graphics mod is amazing.

The standard of modding is getting better by the day too. I can't wait to see people start creating new stuff for V.

There was one point when I was really into modding GTA SA. After a while, I wanted to play the game 'proper' again. Although, I'm still interested in mods.

If it weren't for playing & making mods for GTA, I'd dedicate all my time playing Team Fortress.

I've only installed a few car mods (along with SA-MP) a few years ago, but deleted them all after a week.

Nothing beats an original game.

I wouldn't even be playing GTA on PC if it weren't for the mods (Or any other game in general).

I have some certain that I usually use, like ones that fixes bugs (Silentpatch being an example) I also use DYOM when I have nothing to do, but I don't use ones like "All collectibles completed" or "Total Conversions" for example, just the ones that won't change, corrupt, or affect 100% progress of the game.

No, they make the game more fun.

If you use the cheat type ones after you've played it through I see no reason why not sandbox a bit. It's a blast. I foresee Garry's Mod and GTA Modding becoming even more popular. Hell, I know 4 friends who quit MMO's just to play the GTA Online. (Mod free for Online of course. It's still a blast and no grind.)

i like a good mod which adds more missions. it's sad that most projects which would've been good, have died. i once found a guy trying to make GTA IV for SA, and that was just the thing i needed, sadly enough the best mods get cancelled.

It's sad that they die off. I guess the creators of such mods lose their passion for them after a while.

I see too many mods die off simply because, yes they lose the passion, or they realize there in over there head.
