Acehilm
I was young; I was the surviving the times Waiting for my moment, I was destined to shine Now look back in grief, dread and sorrow As the paintings of the past paint tomorrow Softly, I caressed my soul and let myself cry Powerless, restrained; unable to ask why, Why so many violence, why so much hunger? The hungers in the clip, the fear is in the thunder And it echoes throughout, a world of hollow On the outside, fulfilled, inside, nothing left to borrow Overdue payments, to what humans have rented A dash of purity, the rest will never be mended Forever torn, something beyond restoring If we continue this civil war, the tear will keep on drawing Missouri Ferguson, Maryland Baltimore Everyone’s out to win, but no one will win this war Fight, as you will, keep on being the victim Both sides asking sympathy, but no one else is listening They’re just dousing the fire, of hatred and separation This is the 21st century, why is it this sh*t we’re facing? We used slaves to build the lands, plains and people Now they’re slaves of their mind, weak and feeble We the people need to get our hands out our pockets And feed the people; administer the needle Not the flu shot, but the truth behind the bald headed eagle .
