Jax765 188 Posted May 13, 2015 Can you show a screenshot on the ground? From what I can tell, the low city LOD is still too obvious. The distant mountains having extra fog is good though.
Hurrikane 1,013 Posted May 13, 2015 Holy hell this is amazing... 4k at a solid 30 FPS.... Wow amazing job all. Damn amazing... I can finally see the city now...
_CP_ 9,489 Posted May 13, 2015 Lack of neons have been reported, I'll investigate a cause tomorrow, it's something with timecycle modifiers.

ubtri 33 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) There is something weird about those confusing common/update/common and much more common and update. The file timecycle_mods_2 is not present in update/update.rpf/common/data/timecycle. The file timecycle_mods_2 is present in just common.rpf, the file right in GTAV root folder. I did make a backup of the original files but it seems to the same. If the file isn't in the update.rpf, it is okay to +add it in. Anything in the update will override what is in the common! buzzbass 1,111 Posted May 14, 2015 (edited) Lack of neons have been reported, I'll investigate a cause tomorrow, it's something with timecycle modifiers. Have you tried with a negative value like the original? car.neon.clipplaneheight -0.014 Edited May 14, 2015 by buzzbass
_CP_ 9,489 Posted May 14, 2015 If you want to bring neons back, don't install visualsettings.dat file, something seems to be corrupted and neons dissapeared.

Marty McFly 3,097 Posted May 14, 2015 If you don't patch the shaders, no. With timecyc changes only, nope.

XXLpeanuts 0 Posted May 14, 2015 This mod has made shadow cascade 100 times worse, like literally shadows look awful then massive sharp blocks of them spawn in infront of the player, it was minimal but noticable before, now its f*cking gawking and awful. Also it seems to have introduced stutter with no fps drop for me. Whats odd is, i installed it when you released and did not have these issues, but now i do. Just curious if you had similar issues, although I don't mess with shadows or tonemap..

FrostKnivEz 11 Posted May 16, 2015 I need a bit of help. The mod itself was working fine before but I had a bug on my save file and it did not let me open the character selection wheel. After deleting the save and starting a fresh new save, the problem with the character selection wheel was fixed... but the mod is now broke. The fog in the distance is still there, the blur on the menu is gone so I know it's installed but everything else just does not work. I have scripthook + ASI loader + OpenIV.asi and no other mods installed.
NachoLZ 18 Posted May 16, 2015 Your mod rocks!!!
Alabeo 27 Posted May 16, 2015 CP, did you fix the neon thing? Mod is cool but I will refuse to use it till it's perfect. I am perfectionist, sorry XD Good job so far. Add a LITTLE smog to the extrasunny to mask horison and it will be perfect.
Claude_Lib 3,585 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) Why do you people hate CA effect so much? Personally I really like it. The city looks so small here. It really needs a little bit of distant fog, if you ask me. Edited May 16, 2015 by Claude Liberty
raburs 1,992 Posted May 16, 2015 How's the performance? Any increase/decrease? Also imo, _CP_ should add fog back...It just takes away that vibe... I agree with @Claude Liberty...
legacyy 1,136 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) 4 Pictures... Holy cow, that's looking very nice dude. Can't wait to see more from it. In the meantime i'm gonna try the released one . Btw, what values do change the fog? want to add a litte more to the current released version. Edited May 16, 2015 by legacyy

_MK_ 7,673 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) It's SMOG not FOG.In real life as some of you say.. it isn't that thick or close in range as it is in V,@_CP_ first one,and even with that ill still lower that ugly ass effect. Edited May 16, 2015 by _MK_
Hellspawn92 451 Posted May 16, 2015 Second one, even if for a lot ppl out there think it have to be removed and it's just there to "hide" the "ugly" lods. It's ESSENTIAL !!! Without this fog you loose the immersion feeling, it glue the all parts together imo
Mr.Arrow 761 Posted May 16, 2015 Yea but the ugly lod is distracting though and this is why Rockstar add fog.
