A waiting option for your character?

Simply Logic

A waiting option for your character that you could activate where your character is standing so it will make it look like they're waiting like looking around or at the sky and maybe they'll scuffle their feet from back to front or something while they're in waiting mode which would not necessarily include being in passive mode.

Have them default into idle NPC behavior. Come back an hour later and find they've walked from Eclipse Towers to Vespuchi Beach.

I was thinking like the waiting mode your character goes into on GTA IV after standing around for a amount of time.

And find your PV destroyed and 20+ deaths added to your stats.

When they are sitting in the Sofa they move around, adjusting their skirt or scratching an itch, quite sweet, also in car they dance to the radio,so it could be brought into idling easily..

With the amount of rampant freeroam killing?

I think thats resource wasted that can be put elsewhere.

Such as figuring out how to make online connections more stable, and matchmaking overhaul.

One or the other would be nice.

They do move around a little bit when left idling, and as said they do it when sat in the apartment or on the bed.

Would be fantastic to see an idle animation where the character gets impatient, pulls out their phone and starts "playing" a mobile game to pass the time. 'Doesn't need to be a locked animation and maybe some little SFX.

Adjusting posture, stretching, neck cracking, anything to give them more life. Idle animations I feel are a really nice touch. It gives me the impression the game wants to tell me there is more to these characters besides what I'm going to have them do.

There should be 'poses' I say. Looping animations that can be enabled by the player like sitting or dancing. 'Plenty of games do it. Destiny is a perfect example.

The ability to sit on a bench would be nice.

Yea, or just leaning against the wall or car. Would be cool for pictures.

Or when your friend is driving you around your character will fall asleep like what franklin did in storymode.

Our characters sort of have idle animations after completing a heist setup. Sometimes they'll be smoking, on their phone, or just hanging out. I would love to see a feature like this added into GTA Online. It would be awesome to leave my character idle in my apartment and walk away from my PS3 for a short time. Then I come back to find him in the strip club or something. It'll definitely give more life to our characters.
