I don't think anything has been held back because of last gen yet, but in the future it will if R* wants to bring in a new feature or new things that require more system resources than the last gen consoles can handle.

I'm thinking since the weapon wall is practically full, they are giving every weapon more skins until they can find a way of expanding it.

 

The gullwing Benefactor will be a day 1 purchase for me. Looking forward to this one.

I wasn't doubting that they couldn't expand the walI. We know they will find a way of adding future guns (XM25, Scar assault Rifle found in the files?) and a way of putting them in Ammu-nation. It might not necessarily be as easy as expanding the wall again.

 

Thinking about it; If more tints are introduced, more money will be spent. They could have introduced a gun for $12,000 and that's the end of it. But if you're buying tints for some of your existing guns, you could be spending maybe $500,000 (10 tints at $50,000 each) or more.

 

They know how much money we have after this update and they are trying to come up with ways of spending it.

And they can price their guns like whatever they want....

I'm fully aware that it's "easy like f*ck", as you said; they have done it before. I was just debating whether there could be a different solution.

 

I also think you misunderstood my point about multiple tints. When I said "10 tints" I mean 10 different guns having the same engraving tint.

Yeah, they could price a new gun at whatever price they wanted, that's pretty obvious, I was just using an example. But in this case it is the Pistol .50 with a different skin.

Like I said before, it looks like they are trying to come up with ways of getting us to spend money. Provided this engraved tint is available for every gun (Not counting Fireworks Launcher or Flare gun) the combined value would eclipse the price of the most expensive DLC gun (Homing Launcher is i'm not mistaken?) at just $5000. ($155,000 for 31 weapons)

Bullsh*t...360's and hacked PS3's can play MP3's while running games just fine. There is no technical reason why ANY of the four consoles couldn't run self radio...

 

I really wish R* would take the same hands off approach to console mods that they do PC mods. Cheaters should be banned but users using harmless mods to enhance the experience for themselves should be left alone...even online

Also in NFS Most Wanted you create a folder... say I Call Bullsh*t On That, you put mp3's there, start a game, options, and switch from game soundtrack to I Call Bullsh*t On That and voila.

In Forza Motorsport for the original xbox, any music albums on the console could be selected from the settings menu.

It's a shame that stuff has become a PC only thing in video games. (Requires more than consoles allow my ass!)

You honestly believe that crap? Aside from the first person view with all the extra animations there is nothing on Xbone or PS4 that could not have been added to 360/PS3. If anything, the game works better on 360 (probably the same for PS3). Trying to get in the same session as crew and friends is nigh impossible most the time!

not yet, thats what its all about isnt it? i still hope for a map enlargment with san fierro and las venturas. (reachable by car without loading times. i hope they dont just add cities only reachable via airport.)

1. My point is that the LG consoles are 100% capable of playing music at the same time. The ONLY reason the PS3 has to be hacked is because normally a developer must enable an option to allow you to play music unlike the xbox...so once again, there is no technical reason why consoles cannot run self radio.

2. Three letters... U...S...B... You can technically get any file loaded into the filesystem on an unmodified console by plugging in a USB. The console will then mount the USB and BANG there is a USB full of MP3's for self radio to load...

No they just said they can't release them as fast as normal missions as heists take more work, more heists will come but it takes time.

 

Knowing R* though, if they had any intention at all of releasing more heists regardless of when, they'd probably say something like "stay tuned" or "soon"

Two of my favs: Effin Lazers and Factory Closure.

Chop Chop is great.

Pick-up Sticks is also an epic mission. I'm still proud of soloing that mission. With friends, I found myself waiting at the final waypoint with well over 2 minutes on the clock (and that was before the Savage came out, so there is definitely room for improvement)

The truth is that the only reason the console versions don't have user radio is because Rockstar don't want them to have it. Same with LG and first person...it's just another tick box...a reason to upgrade. The problem I have ISN'T with the consoles not having user radio, it's with the blatant bullsh*t that it's not possible when it so obviously is!

Other games do it just fine...it's not like everyone in my car has to be able to hear my music even if they don't own it...I edited my previous post but like I said:
