Rockstar is lazy?

They only created a fairly large game with monthly updates spanning a year, published across 4 systems, 2 generations and PC.

They've held my attention, and obviously yours all this time. Which might I add has never happened in my 30 something of years I've been gaming.

Not totally riding R*'s d*ck, because I do agree they've definitely done some stupid sh*t.

And made some poor decisions... P2P servers?

But to call them lazy because you are requiring more content is kinda... (hate saying it again)

entitled.

I want more too, lots. But I'm not about biting the hand that feeds me to get it.

If they didn't want to release a ready to go update, they could've at lease teased us a bit more about it. sh*t!

Anyone else thinking that possibly either the editor of current gen will be delayed or it will arrive in a separate update to the classic benefactor. Kind of like how the Content Creator was considered separate to highlife last year?

This is why people get disappointed. It is clearly going to be TWO different updates. They said the editor will come this summer. So they have until September for that. The Benefactor update on the other hand, should come relatively soon.

 

They never, ever said that the editor was coming with the teased update.

One of the reasons why I don't think R* like to give release dates is that there internal Dev procedures and tools are such a mess that it is really hard for them to estimate the time needed. I think the biggest thing they need is better internal organisation and Dev tools. Then the might be in a position to release details about their plans.

I wouldn't even be complaining this much if I knew they were working on other projects besides GTA V/GTA Online but since they decide to keep their mouths shut regarding updates, it just makes it that much worse.

Obviously some people at R* are working on a new game. But it might not be the same people who put out GTA Online updates.

I love calamari, but sometimes, it's overcooked and rubbery.

 

I love playing R* games (specifically the GTA series) but R* is very secretive about their content, sometimes releases slow, sometimes is overly ambitious, causing both delays and glitches, and occaisionally dumb ideas.

 

Eating calamari means dealing with the occasional rubber squid.

 

Playing GTA means dealing with delays at times.*

 

*Though, I have to say that I do think we have gotten a lot of content over time, the delay is long this time, but hey, free update with stuff coming.

 

I also have decided that next time I get overcooked calamari, I'm blaming shark cards. . .that'll confuse everyone.

To those wondering about the rockstar editor...

 

"Presenting the first in our series of tips devoted specifically to the Rockstar Editor, which is currently available exclusively with the PC version of GTAV and coming to the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game in a forthcoming update"

Unfortunately it says "In a forthcoming update" not "In the forthcoming update" !

So it means it's possible to be any update that releases in the summer

A lot of cars we've gotten have been cut content from the stock game. The Casco and the Enduro were both found in 2012.

Lol. I'm sure assets are done. Now is the coding stage which is the usual long, hard, and nobody knows why when something is not working.
