That Ebola virus scares me. It's like having a fever and the virus causes internal bleeding and a few other bad things like bloodshot eyes, diarrhea, vomiting, and some other stuff. 50% to 90% of those who have the virus die. As far as I know it's only in some parts in Africa. I could be wrong. I've heard that the virus can be contained and stopped but it's not easy. Hopefully someone can stop it. Good luck to those out there doing what they can and rest in peace to those who were killed by the virus. Damn. I'm so thankful I'm healthy.

lol @ anyone who's legitimately afraid of coming in contact with Ebola. Every few years an ailment becomes buzzworthy (West Nile, Swine Flu, SARS, MRSA, etc.) and suddenly everyone thinks they're coming down with it or very likely could in the middle of their neighborhood in flyover country.

There was a scare in Birmingham a week ago which is where I live. But it was a false alarm. People are right to be afraid as it's deadly. And remember. It only takes one.

You just said it-- it was a false alarm. You do know that Ebola is *very* rare, and almost unheard of in the developed world? Until last week's news cycle that is.

 

I have a MUCH higher chance of dying in a car accident tomorrow than I do ever coming in contact with Ebola, should I be even more afraid of that?

 

I just don't see the point in getting worried over highly improbable scenarios.

Just cos it's improbable doesn't mean it can never happen. It was a false alarm yes but it could just as easily have been high alert. The man flew back from west Africa a few days earlier so it was justified.

 

If that's a true stat then do so if you want.

 

Ebola is rare in the west but it can reach those places via infected people landing over there. That's my point in why people have a right to be concerned. If all flights inbound from west Africa were closed then there's no need for fear.

Crap, I did it again, Back in junior high there is this girl who I kinda like, she's cute, likes to draw, watch anime, and all that, we both shared some interests. I planned to go to the same high school as her, but I failed on getting on that school, and ended up somewhere else. During the end of junior high we both worked on the yearbook and was kinda close. Anyway now I'm in high school who has a overtimed school hours and we rarely see each other. I just realized that she kinda likes me, saying she missed me and stuff, I'm kinda sure because she was kinda quiet and never hung out with any other boys except me. But I only realized now, long after when I saw her last to talk.

 

Goddamn, I always screw up, No matter what I do, And even worse is if she actually didn't like me even for a bit, She's so f*cking kawaii.
