Kinda feeling like I wish I wasn't single even though I'm better off single. See the girl I had a crush on with another guy is probably the main reason I feel this way though. Still it'd be nice.

Woke 20 minutes ago and I'm still laying in bed, writing this. I have a long day. At some point I won't have class, so I have to wait 90 minutes for the last class of math before being able to head home. I don't want to. I'm too tired for that. I'm going to skip math and go home 3 hours earlier and then sleep.

Yeah happened to me 3 times in a row this week. Took naps after getting home and then went to bed at one planning to get up at six. But every night I woke up around 5 something by myself. So damn annoying.

This week has been pretty sick, and only a few days away from vacation, extremely excited. I feel really good about my Spanish Exam so I ended my school week on a great note and only have one easy assignment to complete over the break so I can enjoy my vacation in Florida.

So I had to visit a temple 90kms away with my aunt and cousins some days ago...because of a promissory ritual that she had involved us all into.

I had agreed so as to not hurt her feelings or faith but today I was thinking about it and I'm suddenly finding temples and idolatry irritating beyond bounds. I live in a place where I hear the temple bells ringing morning and evening everyday, the sound is a part of the ambience in my residential area and I never gave much thought to it. A part of the conditioning.

 

During that visit, the priest had scolded my cousin because he rung the temple bell when the Goddess was supposedly in her afternoon nap. What the f*ck, priest dude? You earned not even a cent of wisdom spending your whole life worshipping God?

 

 

 

 

I never really used to care about all this before, I've visited many temples in my life and have bowed down before the statues because upbringing..but now I'm getting really..very..f*cking annoyed at the stupidity of it all. I mean no disrespect to the devotion and faith of people and I for once, can even consider these places to be a center of positive energy but framing God into a human form and then putting him/her away in a temple is as ignorant as it can ever get.

 

Being a spiritual skeptic, I revolt against the concept of God...but before that and now more than ever, I want to revolt against these dogmas that are blinding and deafening and dumbing down humans from asking the important questions. These dogmas are making them feel so helpless and blind that they readily get involved in idiotic rituals and go on to weaken their will because of the fear of God induced by these Godmen.

 

People aren't building these holy places to remember God, rather they want to put God aside, in fact- far away from their selfish narrowed down outlook of the world. They've turned God into a flourishing business, these bastards.
