After a long time, it snowed for the fist time in the year this morning. I love snowfalls and all - I mean, they are a spectacle to look at - but I'm definitely not looking forward to the inconveniences it may be bringing if it continues. However, considering the global warming, it's a good sign that snow fell down, even though the sun has already came back.

I'm currently working on earning my GED as of now, and while it may seem silly to some considering how lazy I've gotten in high school, I'm willing to take the challenge. Plus when I get said GED, I'll be looking around for a new job that pays more. (And of course, one I'll enjoy more.) Before, I always thought it would be difficult, getting a really good job and GED stuff, but it's all pretty easy to me. I just have to put my mind towards goals and just do it. And it really helps that I dropped my pessimistic nonsense. Great way for me to start the year!

Lol just noticed that my school starts a week later than I thought. YAY!

Sometimes I wake up and about to get ready for school then remember I'm not fifteen anymore! Yay!

 

By school I meant like a university tho.

f*cking Exams start the next week and we STILL hadn't even finished one Chapter in Statistics. The stupid teach is so f*cking slow that it take us a week to finish ONE Lesson. Dude are you f*cking serious?!?!

 

1. [electric] Physics? Already finished that, in fact we're actually taking/learning things that should be taught in the Second Semester.
2. Maths? Same as above.
3. Arabic (Literature and Grammar)? We're almost done.
4. Computer Tech? Done so too.
5. Physics? One or 2 lessons and we're out.
6. Religion? I think we finished - the teacher is slow as hell but unlike the jackass who teaches us Statistics, this teacher is fairly fast compared to that one asshole.
7. Biology? Finished it today.
8. English? Same as #1 and #2.
9. Statistics on the other hand..... ZZZzzzZZZzz.

Sometimes I feel sad out of the blue. I guess I am not looking forward to going back to work and school on the 25th. It's stressing me out thinking about it. I think I'm going to fail my classes and lose my job. I have to have good grades to work at my job. I hate school.

 

I'm just in a tough situation with my life. I'm recovering from depression, anxiety(I still have it)and I worry that I'll still get paranoid. It's been over 15 days since I've gotten paranoid and I'm happy about that. I just don't know if that's the end of it. I feel like it's going to come back because I've been so accustomed with it. It might, it might not. I really don't know. I don't know the brain works. I guess I have a chemical in-balance.

 

I also don't know what the f*ck I want to do with my life. I don't want to work retail or some sh*tty job. My Mom said that some warehouse is hiring and you stock boxes for $12 an hour but I don't want to do some sh*tty type of job like that. I want to do something that makes me happy. I'm not depressed, I'm just unhappy with my life. I don't find joy in much. I want to get through college but school is hard for me because I have a learning disability.

 

I'm just overwhelmed by a lot. I wish I had peace in my life.

 

I'm not whining, that's just how I feel. It makes me feel better to post on these forums.

Hey, the whining part is part of why these threads exist, so don't feel bad, especially as you do contribute a lot of non-bitching and moaning.

 

It's hard to really think of things in perspective, especially when you've not lived through the years I'm about to speak of, but still, sometimes it helps to try... to remember that you are at the very beginning of your journey, you have a lot of miles to travel and days to while-away. You can still pull yourself up if you do stumble and fall, because, as a famous billionaire's dad once said, we fall so we can learn to pick ourselves up, dust off the mistakes and move forward with the determination and added wisdom of the experience. That isn't to say give up and allow the failure, but it is a reason to not freeze up with the fear of that failure preventing any hope of success. It's no biggie, life moves on, the days pass as they tend to and recent, painful memory transmutes to distant, sometimes amusing, recollection.

 

As for the $12/hr warehouse job... take it. Plenty of opportunity for overtime and extra money as well some fun experiences and a healthy (physically at least) daily occupation. Don't worry too much about the fulfillment aspect, that's why you're in school, right? Just do the work because it's there and that is getting to be a rarer and rarer thing, and know this isn't your always-life, this isn't your destiny (not that it would be the end of the world if it were), you make your own future, and it won't be decided right now with this one single job.
