I was going to see Star Wars with my sister this week. But we got into argument and now she's gone. And I don't like going to the cinema by myself. It makes me feel awkward. Especially when there are couples and groups of friends hanging all around me.

 

Probably won't see it now until it comes out on DVD.

We just experienced a 4.9 earthquake here in Vancouver... I'm having a hard time joking and laughing about it with friends because it's genuinely my greatest fear. I was taught growing up in school that we've been due for the "big one" for centuries and for some reason I always felt that I would experience it in my life time - and that I wouldn't survive it. I'm still shaken up by it and am probably freaking out more then I should be but I'm trying so hard not to have a panic attack and calm myself down.. I will not be sleeping tonight, I am certain of that. I don't know what to do to keep my mind off this.

I live in California and there's supposed to be an epic earthquake in my lifetime. I'm not really scared of it. It will be bad but you can't live your life being afraid of the unknown.

 

I take this one medicine after I eat and it sometimes makes me nauseous and it's made me puke a couple times. It sucks. I usually take it an hour after I eat and I'm going to the movies tonight to see Star Wars for the third time and I'm worried that I'll get nauseous again. I don't want to throw up in the theater or bathrooms at the theater.

We're in the same situation here in Portugal, we're expecting a huge earthquake like 1755's 8.5+ earthquake that destroyed Lisbon and heavily damaged parts of the rest of the country. But it's not something we must think about everyday because well... It could even not happen in our lifetimes... or tomorrow. No one knows, but it's reality.

I'm quite depressed right now.

So I wanna learn Japanese, but I pretty much can't. Not a single school in my close proximity has it on their schedule, and there's not a single course for teenagers in my city.

To top it off two schools in my city removed it after this years summer, which resulted in me being 1.5 years to late.

So I'm pretty much f*cked, and I will never take a f*cking online course. I wanna have a classroom and a teacher in front of me, not 300 miles away.

 

It's so frustrating to not being able to learn a language you have great interest in. I mean, I am f*cking depressed over it.

And then I'm getting pissed at people calling me a f*cking weaboo when I like the Japanese language, culture and history.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment with your situation. It's unfortunate that you can't find a class for it in your area, but you can certainly begin picking up aspects of language over the Internet. The only thing limiting you is your ability to be open to the world. There is, otherwise, very little in your way.
