My family hasn't even arrived and they're already pissing me off. Why do we have to get together once a year and pretend to be a happy family when we know we aren't and we all hate each other?

It's the same with me. It's something about this "ritual" that you have to visit your family for Christmas. I f*cking hate it.

I ate way too much, including too much sweets and now I feel diabetic. Forget the fact that I went jogging this morning, it didn't do anything to prevent me from feeling obese too. Ah well, I'll try to control myself next year. I'm just thankful I have food in my belly. I'm 22 now and I must admit this is the first time in my life that I didn't feel the Christmas "spirit" until maybe today. Maybe it's the fact that the only gifts I received were ones implying I should move out soon. i.e, small household appliances. That's still OK though, I'm glad my mom is trying to think about my future. Either way, I hope y'all had a great time and will for the new year too.
