I'm getting more and more tired of reality each day and I'm starting to obsess over my dream world. If only there was a way to escape there forever..

Interesting you should say that....I sometimes (so, when I can be bothered) do a bit of writing - 'cause I'm such a fun person - and the plot for one of my ideas is very similar to that. Well, admittedly I'm undecided if the main character should just be so fed up of life she somehow ends up a dream world; or (slightly more morbid) she's on a ship which gets wrecks and sinks, and her mind can't stand the reality that she's about to die and her imagination translates her to this dream world, which helps her accept her imminent death.

 

Then again, that last one probably isn't what you wanted to hear.... My advice is to read a book - anything by Terry Pratchett is a good reality escape. I'd recommend the Long Earth series or any Discworld novel. As somewhat fantasy novels, they're pretty close to a dream anyway

Not sure if it's too good to be true, or if I'm still kind of being too hard on myself.

I know from experience that you are being too hard on yourself. Hell even now, I still am hard on myself at times but you just need to think positive about yourself. Just do what I do by keep telling yourself that you are a sexy beast on a daily basis. It'll boost yout self-esteem and get you that girl that you want. As for the girl, take things slow and don't rush! Keep her interested by being sweet and funny to her. Make her laugh and feel special but don't come on too strongly. Be sure to give her breathing room too. Also, don't ever be afraid to tell her how you feel! When you are ready, talk to her about your feelings for her. If she has the same feelings for you as you said she does, she'll tell you. Don't hold your feelings back from her. If you do, it'll eat you from the inside. Good luck my friend!

We already admitted our feelings for each other, but she wants to hang out and im having a hard believing this is actually happening. it seems surreal.im a little nervous about all that's going on.

Yesterday my mom threw a party for my grandmother's 80th birthday, it the first time my dad and mom have been within a mile radius since they split (around 3-2 monthes ago). it was very awkward.

If you're visiting NY, PLEASE VISIT OTHER AREAS EXCEPT FOR MANHATTAN, nothing makes me itch about tourists other than the fact they only visit Manhattan, and don't bother going to Queens or going upstate.
