I'm in love with this thread rn, so much hate for my sh*tty country.

 

what makes it so sh*tty?Where to even begin? I've despised living here and having to put up with the inbred morons that inhabit my town, for as long I can remember. Being forced to learn a dying language for 4 years in school is pointless. I've barely spoken a word of Welsh since I graduated, and let's not forget that Wales is completely irrelevant to the rest of Great Britain. Everybody loves the Irish, Scottish and English but you never hear people talk about how awesome and kind Welsh people are.

 

It's also known that the Welsh hate the English, I don't know why? They have nothing to go on, it's baseless. Living in the Valleys is depressing, you see half naked guys in the summer with sh*t tribal tattoos, drinking cider outside their local Spar. The MTV show the valleys will confirm that most Welsh people are c*nts.

 

It's an embarrassment being Welsh, it's just how I feel.

I don't think that's grounds for hating a country. I've been forced to learn a dying(and outdated) language(nynorsk) for 13 years and also feel alienated. As a Norwegian, I feel a slight obligation to mock the Swedish due to international politics of the past, I don't know if the same is true for Wales.

You're not any different, nor is Wales any different from the rest of the EU. sh*tty people are everywhere, try to look at the positive stuff in stead of being embarrassed of how people of any nationality act.

To be fair, all the countries in the British Isles apart from England hate England. And then in England it's North vs South, and also Everyone Not In London vs London, and then in London there's some sort of divide along the Thames, which is another North vs South.

My aunt was meant to have been released from hospital yesterday, but she was later deemed unfit to return home. The root cause of her abdominal pain has been found to be a kidney stone that has made it's way to the bile duct and lodged itself there. She will have to undergo both an endoscopy and 'keyhole surgery' to remove both it and the bile duct.

 

Keeping her in my thoughts at all times right now...

It's good that they are doing that kind of surgery as it is less painful and a faster recovery.

Vacation was nice. I finally saw the ocean for the first time since I was three, and I can barely remember much from that age. Houston was lovely, felt like Miami in some areas. Driving back into San Antonio felt like I was entering a sh*t hole, the road quality here is so terrible and so is the planning. I hope we move to Houston soon.

My cat died yesterday. He came to our house 2 years ago. We called him Pas.

On croatian, dog means pas and mačka means cat. Yeah, our cat's name was dog.

After 3 days without eating he passed away. He passed away during the night.

When we came in the morning he was stiff and there were f*cking flies in his eyes.

I had to pick him up with shovel to put him inside the box but I couldn't because he was solid as rock.

That was the worst feeling I've ever had in my life.

 

It's 2:30 in the morning. I can't sleep because image of picking him up with shovel is in my head.

That's really rough, I'm sorry to hear that. At least you were able to give him a happy home for those two years.
