It's just how we function, we're hardwired to think of ourselves as the protagonist of everything. Have you ever walked down a busy street and stopped to think of the fact that all the people around you live lives that are just as complex and as vivid as yours?

This is a really interesting thought. It occurred to me the other day while I was having dinner. I could see people on the balconies in the building across the street, talking on the phone, and it came to me. It's amazing and humbling to see that each of us is only a tributary to one huge network of individuals.

It's got a little bit to do with that, but it's mostly how people are just too judgemental in general. It's a peculiar little thing I've noticed in my years of living.

It's like we're obsessed with other people's lives, but only the parts of it we don't like.

I think I'm in love with a woman who's playing with my feelings. Oh man how unhappy it makes me, like you wouldn't believe. It makes my stomach hurt just thinking about her, or the entire situation.

Feeling depressed. Its been almost 4 months since i broke up with my ex. I dont know why i feel so attachted to her, i know my shy self obvioulsy wasnt good enough her. This past week the depression is really taking me over. I miss her more, and more each damn day. These past couple of weeks ive been isolating myself, locking myself in my room, that kind of thing. I hate talking about my feelings, to my friends, family, even a fking counsler. I can straight up lie to everyone, and they beleive it. I kind of hate myself for being a liar. Hate it more that people beleive it. But i needed to get this off my chest, atleast this lifted some weight off.

Or if you're not into that (case in point) devote yourself to something. I've devoted my entire being to music and the result is that my self esteem issues are gone/have changed. I feel like I know I'm a piece of sh*t, which is way better than "oh god what if everyone hates me".

Now I start out with "these people hate me" and am at peace with that.

Spend time doing things you enjoy and just try not to think about. Someone else will come along eventually. It sucks, but it's something just about everyone goes through at one point or another.

Thats the thing though. I dont really enjoy much anymore but listening to music. It zones me out, but not for a long time. Also, when i do try to forget about her I fall asleep and have dreams about her. Like good dreams, but i wake up crying because of it..

There's just this little problem though. She's not considered an outcast, yet many of my mates doesn't like her. If they know I've been with her, I'll get into some serious trouble for what comes to my reputation. I can't let that happen.

It works now, not sure why it didnt work earlier tho. Its been running for a hour now without any issues, hope it stays like that. Im glad i didnt told the guy its broken, so the deal is still going on .
