I really want to enter something this time. A contest will probably be a good motivation for me to actually write something. I'm always talking about how I want to write, but never actually do it.

Hopefully having to pull up my sh*tty grades for the end of the year won't get too much in the way.

I've told her so many times that I don't want her as a girlfriend. She finally seemed to have gotten the message, yet she's preaching about sex. Like she really wants to be a friend with benefits at least.

 

Though I'm not interested in her, having a sort of erotic relationship with her for some time, is just too damn tempting.

I feel frustrated with everything. Most of the people I love are far away, there's almost nobody with whom I can have a nice, rich dialogue about any fascinating subjects in this town. I'm nearly 18, one month away from graduating high school, and still have doubts about what to study; all these years I feel like I've done nothing valuable. The only person I know who can cheer me up just by saying hello lives far away too, and she's the one who encourages me to keep writing music, even though I know it has got no commercial appeal and only a specific circle of jazzers or classical players will care about it.
My great-uncle died the other day and I never got to say a proper goodbye to him. The last time I saw him, over a year ago, he was walking through the streets and I was on a bus—I waved and tapped on the window trying to call his attention, but he didn't notice. It bugs me so much that that is my last memory about him and I can hardly believe he's gone.

Remember: it's just momentary, everything passes. You're a very cool guy, and I'm sure a lot of persons would enjoy your company. However, look at the positive side: staying alone is the best way to know yourself, and consequently other people. I perfectly know that feel, especially when you have no choice about it. On the other hand, loneliness can also be very inspiring, especially for an artist. It seems like you take music very seriously, and passionately, so just keep on going, man, the hard work will pay off!

Just remember this the minute you graduate your reputation graduated with you, It's not going to follow you for the rest of your life unless you'll be one of those people who can't let go and want to relive their high school days everyday.

And in my opinion, you should keep writing songs, at least as a hobby. I know nothing about these kind of stuff (music), but I wouldn't like to stop doing what I like. Hope you feel better bro
