Yay, i'm back! my limbs are still swollen and my joints are still stiff and aching, but at least i can type again for more than 5 minutes. Feels good, man!

 

 

 

Hmm, after being away for a while i just saw that thing about the hers that were hims. even though i really couldn't care less about people's pretense online personalities, it is strangely satisfying to get confirmation on what i've been suspecting for almost 1,5 years now. the most popular crew member never ever ever using her/his mic was just too obvious, along with phrasing and diction that was at times just too teenage-boyish to fit with the rest. still, he made it work for years, which either calls for respect for his deception skills, or ridicule for people's gullibility. probably both, or none, what do i know.

 

Finding this out feels kinda like, when you don't remember a particular thing, name, lyric, quote, whatever, and then the next day under the shower or at dinner or wherever, you suddenly get a flash of memory that brings it back to you... i know it's not the same thing, but it feels similar.

 

Poor girl who got her images abused, if the use wasn't consensual, there i feel the same as many of the people above. If that's the case i hope he at least has the balls to come clean to the girl in the picture.

 

Spoilers because i don't want to re-ignite any discussion with this, just felt like sharing my feelings on the issue.

I don't respect the deception and I wouldn't necessarily ridicule those who went along with it. I think the deception is sad and pathetic. I think those who went along with it were simply taken advantage of for being nice/honest people. it's not gullibility to take someone at their word. it's natural. the internet anonymity phenomenon is relatively new and I don't fault people for being trusting.

 

the stakes on GTAF are not exactly life and death...

you're not obligated to assume that everyone is lying to you. it's the person who is lying that has the issues. not the people who believe them.

A simple blow into my laptop's fan vent seems to have fixed the fan, which has been broken for months causing the laptop to overheat if put under heavy load. Feeling pretty handy right now, but also pretty stupid for not thinking of it earlier.

I had the awesome idea of not making my school assignments on time, so i have slept 4 hours in the last 48 hours. Im seeing shadow people again and im afraid of going to the kitchen to make myself a coffee because its full of windows there and windows and mirrors just make it worse.

Im also seeing blue thingies dancing around, thats new actually.

Fortunately both the blue thingies and the shadows disappear when i try to look directly at them, if they stop disappearing then im officially f*cked.

I just got off the phone with one of those fake "Windows Support" Scammers. He told me that my computer was in a dangerous zone with malware so I asked him whether I should rename it Kenny Loggins.

 

Apparantly he wasn't a fan of classic rock. Still feeling pretty satisfied with that one though.
