sadly though, its usually the villains that you want to get caught or die, that succeed. for me dumb nightcrawler and american psycho

Nah man, Walt's initial motive was the well-being of his family, following his pending demise. Dex was a good character, but the last few seasons really diluted any substance the show had had.

his motives changed by season 2. season 1 walter white was likeable, season 2-5 i despised. he reminded me too much of someone i know around here which probably adds to my hate for him. dexter i did like, just the last couple seasons were just bad that i wanted everyone to get swept away in the hurricane lol

Our national treasure, master Manoel de Oliveira, died today, aged 106... I can't believe it. I've always loved his work, and to me he'll always be the greatest symbol of Portuguese artistry in cinema. RIP Master, you were always the greatest

Guy in my school just went on TV, his father arrested and sentenced for physical abuse. The guy was anonymous in the interview but I recognized him the minute I saw his back turned and his brown hair pulled back so neatly. F*ck man. His own father, demeaning him and pushing him down the stairs for being gay. F*ck, man.

So, in consequence of the death of Manoel de Oliveira, I started talking with a chick I met a few weeks ago and it turns out she's practically my soul mate (ugh, I hate that term). She likes exactly the sames things I like, the same books, films, music, everything. What the f*ck... The only problem is she lives somewhat far from me. I suppose I could take a train and be with her anyway, but eh.
Tomorrow I'll go back to my hometown to spend a few days there, so I'm f*cking excited!

I suppose I could take a train and be with her anyway, but eh.

If you can take a train to visit, I'd say that is close enough. I mean... I assume outside the US trains are used for normal journeys? Over here it's either for sh*ts and giggles or cross-country. I guess it's different in the east. What do I know? Obviously nothing. About real trains, that is... I have a lot of thoughts I can share regarding the island of Sodor's rail habits, the AI potential being wasted and the interesting Boss type economy over there, but ...

 

What I mean is, don't let a little space (which is relative... ) get in the way of love. Or lust. Or a great friendship. People are a dime a dozen, but people like you are one in a million.

Yeah, I guess I should definitely visit her sometime. She told me she had started "stalking" my profile after learning that I was a big Tolkien fan. Apparently, she visits Porto sometimes, so I'll keep an eye out for that.

 

I would definitely say that Portugal's railways are somewhat inferior. Most operators were on strike today, actually, so my dad had to drive us here. I swear, there's a railroad strike every 2 weeks.

 

I've always wondered whether the trains in Thomas the T.E. aren't technically slaves, you know?
