I'm probably going to stop playing GTA as much when i'm older and stick to the forums...keep them neat and tidy and help the community :)well I can't really keep them tidy because I don't have the moderator powers... but mostly help the community , And for the next two years I will be doing an BTEC extended diploma in ICT and a Cisco networking qualification in IT, hopefully will be coming out with 4 A levels. it's going to be good!

4 A levels? Like full A levels or just AS levels?

I doubt it, 4 A levels makes sense for something like medicine, not IT. At least to me, anyways.

 

They are BTEC's - 4 A-level 'Equivalent' but not any more demanding than a regular A-level and most likely less academically challenging

I took Business BTEC Dimploma which was equal to '2 A-levels'. I just count it as 1, as would an employer unless they were in that specific field.

Many hours of work, but lesser risk of failure compared to an exam.

 

Honestly my experience of that was so mind numbingly depressing, with not such a change in my prospects, that were I not to balance it out by signing up to be part of the school productions of 'Bugsy Malone' and 'Oliver' suicide would have been an easier option. Especially as I chose to mix BTEC with 2 traditional A-levels <shudder>

 

But if you are motivated and organised you should have a pretty chill time doing it. Our situation wasn't helped by having seven teachers leave the school over the course of two years.

 

 

Oh, I see. This is my 2nd year into Cambridge's exams. So far I've finished 6 IGCSEs, I'm taking my 7th as well as 2 AS subjects in the upcoming sesson (which is next month). The proper torture hasn't even begun yet for me, lol

there was a thread in general chat that was moved to GTAO. so i decided to go check it out in GTAO. That was my first time ever looking in that section. all i can say is.. what a f*cking disaster that place is, it should be discarded. Its a waste of life and space. I thought some of the comments in the other GTA sections are a little out there. But wow everyone is like a 12yr old kid in that section.

I can't be in a relationship with someone who isn't self-reliant. It's such a turn off to be with someone who relies on me for their happiness - there are so many issues with that. First of all, I'm struggling to make myself happy and focusing on making someone else happy as well is really hard. People like that are clingy and too emotionally invested in me and get disappointed easily when I don't follow through with their wants therefore they get depressed. I feel bad when that happens because I genuinely care about people and put them first - Now.. I want to put myself first and focus on my well being and I've explained that to my bf but he's basically said if he doesn't have a GF he's going to be extremely depressed (im worried suicidal) and it's putting me in a hard situation because I want to be single and free but I don't want him to be hurt. I never should have jumped back into a relationship so soon..

I just came back from a long walk through the small town where my high school is located. Even though it's Spring Break already, I had to drop some papers at the principal's office, and since I hadn't anything else to do, I figured I might as well hang around the town for a bit. It's nothing special—in fact, some of the more remote areas of it are still pretty rural—but it's a calm, friendly place at least, and I guess I needed that.

 

It was quite relaxing to take some time alone to think about things and revisit some places. I ran into a few familiar faces, but didn't really hang out with anyone. It felt really good to have a nice coffee and read the newspaper in peace, then go for a stroll, sit in a vantage point facing some faraway fields and just take in the scenery, watch the birds, the planes, the clouds. Overall, a nice, serene afternoon.

Yesterday something that my cousin's daughter said bothered me. She said that she loves her mommy but also said she hurts her feelings. Her mother proceeds to say the last statement back at her. And worse even said she doesn't want her. And she's 3.

I feel so f*cking worthless right now. My depression has gotten worse. My girlfriend's depression has returned as a result and now she wants us to go our separate ways. "Take time off to think about ourselves", she says. I'm all for it tbh. But then I ask her if we'll ever go back to how we are and she says "No promises" and tells me to stop thinking about her so much. She kept me going, And now she's gone. And I really don't know what to do. I seriously thought I was going to kill myself last night. I came so close. It's so difficult. Alls I want to do is hold out hope that we can get better and go back to normal but too much damage is already done. My meds aren't working. I won't see the doctor or my counselor for at least a week. And I have no friends that I can effectively turn to. I dropped out of college. I have no clear future. I have no motivation to do things that I enjoy. Just watching TV is a chore for me. I spend my time counting down the hours and hoping some miracle happens. But it won't will it? It's just going to get worse and worse and spiral out of control. sh*t f*cking sucks so hard.

You didn't go to deep sleep or whatever the f*ck it's called. It's easier to remember dreams from short sleep sessions. Also on the topic of dreams, you guys been lucid dreaming lately? I swear it used to happen to me a lot, but lately I just never get it you can practice it tho I hear.

 

Usually when I did lucid dream it would really just end up with me f*cking someone or becoming superman.

I want to call but I'm so damn nervous being the social wreck I am I can't even f*cking call them. It's been months since I got my 970 with its 3.5gb of VRAM. f*ck.

Could this morning have started off any worse?

 

-Only got two hours of sleep

- No hot water in the shower had to light the pilot

- Took 45 minutes before i got hot water

- Finally get in the shower only to realize i don't have any of my soap left so i have to use my daughter soap & shampoo that smells like cookies and coconuts

- Drop the full soap bottle on my right foot

- Go to grab the shampoo bottle it falls off the side when i reach down to grab it i do a half split

- Finally grab the full bottle only to drop that on my left foot

- Now my hair smells like coconuts and my body like cookies

- Buster won't stop licking my leg, He doesn't see a leg he smells cookies.

- To top it off my coffee marker broke yesterday
