Not even 2 months ago, I got my Xbox One. I babied it, I kept it cool and I was nice to it 24/7. And thennn, it dies. Yeah, it's broken now, along with my soul. I haven't been this upset in a while, I can hardly wait until tomorrow to get it replaced, never mind if my mom can't find the warranty receipt and I have to send it to Xbox to be replaced... I can't wait that long to play, my xbox is my life man. I don't even care if that sounds stupid to you, you can shove it. It's the only thing that keeps me entertained and occupied when I'm having Anxiety. It WAS my escape from reality, so I hope and PRAY that it can get replaced nice and easy tomorrow.

 

Needless to say, I'm pretty upset right now.

I have disposable income now so I can take dance classes, so that is my new (and probably much more healthy) pursuit.

I used to have to drink alcohol to feel genuinely happy, but then I was actually depressed, nowadays I can't even bear to be near the stuff and am so much happier for it.

Oh my god. I just reread the first few paragraphs of a fanfiction that I wrote over a year ago and have never cringed more in my life. It commits pretty much every cardinal sin in writing.

 

It is pretty funny to see what why mind was thinking back then, though. How could I have conjured up something so awful?

So many crackheads on the local Facebook yard sale pages. One was trying to sell a flip-flop. A flip-flop. Not flip-flop(s), but one motherf*cking flip-flop for $5. The pages used to be a good way to find neat stuff for sale, but all it is now is people selling old junk or stolen goods.

Featuring Gary Stu, the incredibly boring and perfect protagonist, who the author most certainly wishes he could be. Also starring: alien shipping syndrome, characters that have the personality of a wooden plank (no offense Plank.), and plenty of spontaneous boners while writing. As it was a wish-fulfillment story after all.

So the other day my neighbour gave me a big plate of home made banana bread, today she knocks on my door and gives me a bowl of sticky toffee pudding with cream and ice cream on top. I'm feeling happy.

This is a nice post. Probably the nicest I have seen on this forum.

 

Currently eating some home made onion bhaji's from the same woman haha, pretty damn tasty.

 

Had to copy/paste the word bhaji then, i swear copy/paste on this site sometimes makes sh*t in the post go weird (different font, highlighted, different colour, etc etc) never used to on the old version of the site.
