You know, McDonalds milkshakes are fine and all, but I have to say that it's really my milkshakes that bring the boys to the yard. And, you know, they're like, better than those. Damn right, they are better than those. I could easily teach them, but ... you know, I'd have to charge. I know that you want it.

You offer delectable dairy comestibles, for purchase, in an establishment built for purpose, which is also your residence; cater to a clientèle that is mainly male - offer tutorials to the manufacture of the products that you sell, which is provided as an instructional DVD, sent through the mail?

Touche.

You know a thread has fallen when you have white people trying to rhyme about milkshake purveyors.

294 pages isn't that bad, though. We had a good run.

I don't know what's wrong. Ever since I came back I've felt completely disconnected from things and people around me. I feel no real warmth towards anybody and just want to be alone all the time. Nothing actually stirs my enthusiasm or gives me any sort of joy. The weather isn't helping, either.

Alpha Demigod

My company are paying for me to go to New York for a week for some training (I live in the UK), and I've been given the OK to take my girlfriend along with me. All we have to pay for is her flights and our food when we're there, my flight and all the accommodation are covered by the company. I'm hopefully going to meet up with someone I've known on here for over 10 years, for the first time ever.

I'm feeling pretty magnificent right now.

Sounds cool. What kind of work do you do?

Have you been on a trip?

If so it'll pass, it's a common thing that a lot of people get, and I know the feeling unfortunately. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Post-vacation_blues Keep yourself busy with work/fun for the time being, and it should pass fairly soon. :)

Well, it wasn't a very big trip: it was not very far from home (1 hour drive) and it was only for 3 days, but it might have something to do with it. It's a feeling I commonly get, but I guess for those 3 days I met some amazing people (many of whom I'll probably never see again) and managed to forget all the problems back home.

Now that I'm back, all the predicaments are back as well. Hopefully better times will come.

Thanks, dude! :)

I feel pretty grateful. I returned from a meeting to find this little book at my desk, and when I opened it I found a bottle of Jameson inside. A gift from a vendor. Then when I got home, I was playing outside with my boy and this lady walks up with a large stuffed tiger and gives it to us. Turns out she was one of the people I helped dig out of the street a few weeks ago in the big snowstorm and she wanted to thank me. Almost makes up for the mistake of buzzing my kid's hair...

So turns out in being accused of "pushing a student down the stairs." And since my school's staff is extremely racially biased, the accuser, who's black, will be seen as a victim, and I will get into trouble.

No racism intended.

Man, I want to die by a stab wound and have my last words be " what are ya gonna do, stab me?"

That's obviously the reason.

That can be arranged.

A small bit of dread. I may have to rebuild my desktop soon. It's starting to play up on me.

Now it has become a massive case of dread.

Somewhat relieved at the moment. I have managed a work around to my problem, and am currently backing up my rig.

My parents got into a huge fight today. They get into one every few weeks. But I think they've finally hit their limit. They're tired of these fights and just want to end it. My mom brought up the idea of divorcing my dad. Now I just feel so lost and confused.

Anyone whose parents have been divorced, give me some info. Why did it happen, what happened after the divorce, who'd you live with, etc.

My parents divorce when I was about 8. To this day, neither have answered my questions on why it happened. Pretty messy though, lots of arguing, paperwork, yelling. Horrible. I lived with my oldest sister and my brother in law for a few months, as during said divorce I was all bit nonexistent to my parents. Now I have a stepfather, who I absolutely hate.

Still. I hope things work out for you. Maybe it's for the best.

My parents divorced when I was like 6 or 7 and I actually didn't really care back then, but I remember my sister crying. I think they divorced, because of my dad drinking a lot and being busy with his job as a musician. I've lived with my mom since. My dad is a cool dude, but I guess just not very responsible. Kinda the main downside to the divorce is that I haven't really been able to break the ice between me and my dad as well as I'd want.

Also, yes, it is the reason. I may once in awhile snap and get all mad, but I've only pushed someone twice, because of the constant harassment, and the fact that they had also attempted the same.

As for the bias. See, my school is very biased. If a black person accuses one of something, even if it is false, the person accused will, 99% of the time, be punished for no reason. It's not just me. I've seen it happen to the nicest kids in school, after an argument with a black person.

I'm not being racist, rather just elaborating.

He's a short little guy, so the few times he can play the Mountain, he will, and the stuffed tiger leaves less to clean up. :alien:

Junk food that's supposed to be healthy/healthier is almost always too good to be true.

I'm feeling good. Everything is fine and I'm happy.

My 3 years old brother had a surgery to remove tonsil stones today. Everything went fine and he's back home. :)
